This that extreme power trip cop that executed that boy Shaver and ruined his life and the life of others, justified?. I am not a judge.

Can't verify image?

Looks like a 4Chan geek that got bullied at school;

Cop above service weapon, look close near yellow tag. Is that even legal, is this not clear sign of mental problems.

I don't typically advocate vigilante justice, but that psycho cop executed Shaver, first degree murder, totally uncalled for. Only the blue bullshit saved the cop. I would be happy to hear that someone reached out and touched him, so to speak.

What prosecutors offered was a controversial deal called an Alford plea. This little-known plea allows defendants to maintain their innocence while pleading guilty. Prosecutors pressure wrongly convicted defendants to take it by threatening to retry them, which could take months or even years. For the two Jameses, who’d already spent decades behind bars for a crime they didn’t commit, taking the plea meant they could walk out free men. But, in the eyes of the law, they’d still be convicted murderers. The plea had another catch — it would prevent them from suing for wrongful imprisonment. For prosecutors, such deals keep wins on the books and let them avoid admitting any wrongdoing. But the deals also keep the cases closed, and the real culprits forgotten.

Last year, ProPublica investigated prosecutors’ use of Alford pleas and similar deals in cases of wrongful convictions and found they often cover up official misconduct. Finding these stories is especially difficult. No one tracks how often the wrongly convicted take Alford pleas. In Baltimore City and Baltimore County alone, we’ve found 10 cases since 1998 in which defendants with viable innocence claims ended up agreeing to a plea or a similar time-served deal. Watch the story of the two Jameses to see what happened after the Alford plea was offered in their cases.

What’s sad is there’s no accountability in most cases against law enforcement. But what’s even worse is the expansion of law enforcement nationwide, on the grounds we need more protection. Police rarely protect anyone, 99% of the time law enforcement are after a crime has been committed. I live in a very small country town, 1200 population, we have 10 cops and all they do is write bogus traffic tickets. But the last few years they’ve been shooting unarmed folks and getting away with it, several have been on video others they lost the tape, but not one cop has been so much as suspended for the shootings. Our local law enforcement is extremely aggressive and corrupt, this last year the local sheriff helped cover up a murder his son committed, he was eventually let go but no criminal charges against him. Our chief of police was caught planting narcotics in locals vehicles and was finally let go, but no charges ever brought against him, and he ended up shooting his wife and two small children before killing himself. The cops word is gospel around these parts and they will make up some dandy claims and your ass will be in court to prove your innocence, and I’ve seen at least 100 cases of folks I know who where accused of assaulting an officer during speeding ticket stop who took it jury and won, but they were the ones who were actually assaulted. Nothing changes, more and more cops creating problems around here with nothing being done, poor country folks who don’t have a pot to piss getting harassed constantly.

245 Mass. State Police troopers earned more than $200,000 last year.

Some people go into government because the pay is better than the private sector! State police that make more than U.S. Congressmen, U.S. Senators, and many Governors.....

It's the unions - always the unions - they're killing our government, depleting funds. It's a disgrace.

We really need to ban public unions - what exactly isn't in labor laws already that they need a union for? It's also double-dipping, first you vote for a politician, and then you get to collective bargain/blackmail the politician. At least if you're a liberal.
