Post up your Natty IGF-1 Level

So what is your IGF-1 level when not injecting any hgh?

I saw this guy complaining about being in the mid-200s, which looked high to me:

Mine are only 83 (range 50-317 ng/mL, so technically in range and not low, LOL)

What is your natty IGF-1 level?
Natty IGF-1...I have no idea, LOL. I stay on GH pretty much all the time. I am old as dirt.

I think 2.5 years ago or so I may have gotten a natty measurement and it was quite low around 70ng or so but again I am well over 60. There is of course no healthy reason to be that low.

My last measurement was around 220 or so, somewhat out of range for my age. I was taking 3 iu's of Iron Lions orange tops 5 days a week. I have cut it back to 4 days a week to get it down to around 170 ng.

I try and keep my IGF-1 right at the top of the range for my age because I don't want to increase the chance of cancer, us old fucks have to watch out.

Here is something interesting: When I was off GH for several months my shoulder was out of commission. Doctors did extensive MRI/viewing and said it was the worst shoulder they had ever seen. They were surprised I could even brush my teeth. No cartilage or anything, just bone on bone,

They said I needed complete replacement and my bodybuilding career was over.

I jumped back on GH and can train just fine now, no pain, although I train with very light weights (compared to when I was younger and very strong).

Medical professionals are completely baffled.

I am on 4iu generic high and my igf1 just came in at 239. I’m wondering if this is low and my high is bunk or it’s normal and I should raise the dosage. I also am currently on 500mg test and 50 mg var.

First, you did not say how long you have been injecting 4 iu consistently each and every day.

Second, everybody is different on igf-1 score from a certain dose, and, more importantly, the same person can return a different score based on various factors. For instance, I drove my IGF-1 all the way down to 53 when dieting for a show (and injecting hgh). The same dose returned 286 or something weeks after the show with no other changes except the gear I was using and the fact that I was eating more.

As for whether 239 is low, we don't know. This might be normal for you, or you might be doing things that drive the score down. Your IGF-1 score natty might be really low, too, in which case this response may be much, much better than your baseline.

IGF-1 is a conversion that your body is doing. You are not injecting IGF-1. Your body is making it. Insulin is required to do so.

"GH is not just a hormone that increases IGF-1 concentrations. GH, IGF-1, and insulin sometimes antagonize or amplify each other’s direct actions. In this interplay, for translating GH actions into IGF-1 production, the production of endogenous insulin that reaches the liver via the portal vein is an essential factor. In fact, insulin decides whether GH is allowed to generate IGF-1 production and release by the liver. By not considering GH, IGF-1, and insulin altogether, clinicians will not be able to assess and understand the complex changes in metabolism in which GH, IGF-1, and insulin play a major role."

Blood work Nov 2024. (IGF 1 = 148)
55y/o, never previously tested IGF.
On Test-C, 125mg/wk , nothing else.
Incidentally, TT=636, FT=150.3, E=65 (no AI)
Never used hgh but looking to give it try.
Purchased & received from SSA but still doing some research on how to start.
