preworkouts

The one I use with great results is a simple caffeine pill @200mg. It seems to do the trick for me since in my everyday life I drink close to 0 coffees and I haven't built any tolerance to caffeine. That's what I recommend to most since the effects that you feel in any PWO supplement are most likely due to caffeine. I decided to use Beta-Alanine since the scientific literature supports it, so why not?

Those mega stim pre workouts I don’t know how people can handle. I’ve seen some with around 650mg of several different caffeine’s. I’ll pass lol.

Indeed. Apparently, an adequate caffeine dosage to feel and take the most out of it is somewhere around 4-6mg per kg. So that puts me in a 380 range. I take 200mg and feel like an enraged silverback gorilla and having troubles with my sleep [eventhough I take it like 10 hours before I go to bed. I don't know how the fuck most people are ok with 600mg and maybe higher [although IIRC the safe dosage stops at 600mg].
 
I like the labrada nutrition preworkout. Super charge. Tastes decent and is pretty inexpensive.

I couldn’t agree more with this post. Those high Stim preworkouts make me literally sick to my stomach. Most caffeine I use is total war which is roughly 250mg after a long day of work if I need to make it to the gym still. That or maybe a cup of black coffee. Anything else and the workout seems to just go to shit.

Just got done with that one and you're correct, it's definitely one of the better ones. It tastes good and it doesn't seem overkill. That Mr. Hyde I used last tasted like absolute shit and was 400mg of caffeine.

Usually I just drink coffee but decided to try the magnum brand out since I hadn't used anything in awhile. Sort of stupid because they're all overpriced but maybe was a way of trying to hold myself accountable I suppose. Either way it was a weak choice on my part to need that to think it would help.
