I read some information on The Steroid Clinic site which states that Proviron/Mesterolone ''has some of the most pronounced negative effects on cholesterol values of any of the commonly used performance/physique enhancing steroids'', greatly increasing the risk of cardiovascular plaque, in spite of its negligible effects on the liver. The site states that the risk is comparable to that of Anavar and small doses of Winstrol.
What really surprised me is that risk is said to be greater than that of Trenbolone.
This is fascinating to me because I always thought Proviron was one of the very mild drugs in terms of side effects. I was initially considering adding Proviron on a fairly consistent basis to Testosterone, but I'm not going to take something that is potentially just as damaging to my heart as several of the 17-alpha alkylated drugs yet does little in terms of promoting mass & strength gain.
Can anyone validate these claims?
