I've never used DNP, nor do I really have any interest in using it. With that said, I have always been interested in learning about it. The following is a blurb from Dinitro regarding DNP that I always found interesting:
"More and more, I’m seeing people lured by cheap Chinese DNP they can buy on chemical industry exchange websites. For the love of God, don’t do it! The majority of Chinese DNP is not lab-made. It’s made by industrial chemical companies for the mining industry, and as they’ve discovered that people want DNP for fat loss purposes they’ve simply diverted stock to re-sell on the black market. Some even go as far as advertising it as “weight loss drug”, etc., on their listings. But it’s the SAME stuff they’re making for mining and fungicide uses. It takes a milligram of lead in an entire kilogram of DNP to cause irreparable nerve damage. Cadmium, which is also used to create dyes, is a carcinogen (and the same companies that sell DNP for “weight loss” also list it as a “dye” or “pigment”), and has adulterated a LOT of Chinese chemical products, to the point of creating health issues in America. The long-gone sources who have fled into hiding after their customers developed toxic shock are the guys who bought their stuff from cheap Chinese suppliers, so it’s not like I’m just sounding warning alarms without any basis. This isn’t conjecture on what could happen, this is a summary of what did happen when people tried to go the cheap route. The “cheap route” includes actual steroid/underground websites that claim to sell DNP, but have prices so low they’re sourcing from China in order to still make a profit. Next, you have legal issues at play. DNP is not a drug or controlled substance, but it IS monitored internationally for safety reasons because it is combustible. If you get caught sneaking this stuff into the country, the disguise justifies a conclusion that you are acquiring this for illicit purposes, which could range from simple personal weight loss goals to nefarious explosive intentions. Basically, it’s a toss up whether you’re dealing with the FDA or Homeland Security at that point. But you do not want to get caught sneaking in explosive compounds over the border these days.
I’ve done it. Another “source” challenged me on my warnings on another site recently, claiming I was just trying to discourage people form buying cheap DNP from China (well, duh). He claimed his stuff was just as good as my USA-made, lab-produced, clean crystalline DNP. Okay, it may not have been the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done, but I took up the challenge and actually placed an order from a Chinese supplier! It was advertised as 99% pure crystalline DNP.
Here’s what I got instead. I got a doughy, greasy mash of yellowish…um, substance. More like a clay or shredded orange-ish crayons. Nothing about it was crystalline. It did not have the DNP aroma (real DNP has a sweet, musty scent to it), and even after trying for days to dry the stuff, it remained doughy.
It was also EXACTLY what was inside the capsules my friend bought from a cheap website. This stuff ain’t pure, crystalline DNP at all.
