Damn you guys don't take anything seriously and all ego about "well I got busted and this is what happened to me or my friend..."
I've seen children under 5 get raped and the rapist get away with a slap on the wrist. Also seen people rat out the big guy to get a slap on the wrist. I don't care about this story in particular as I have no direct knowledge of the events whatsoever. Could be true or false. I really don't care honestly. However, these kinds of events can and DO happen often with the penalty absolutely NOT matching the crime.
At least just agree to stay safe lol. I'm done trying to give insight in this thread.

So listen, my original intent was to clarify the risk of posting a REVIEW on a source on this board. It appears that guy got caught because customs opened his package, not because he posted a review on a forum(assuming it's even true in the first place). This could potentially scare people away from posting reviews on sources, which in my opinion is what this board is all about. That's why I'm here, for reviews, and to contribute my review as well. Articles like this will negate the purpose of this board. Am I seeing this wrong?

Has it happened in the past? Yes to people with money and privilege or to snitches like I've already mentioned a few times. Op doesn't sound like he has either especially living in a small town. So that kind of just breaks it down to him being a snitch if it really did happen. We've already requested the evidence, i don't understand what else you're trying to achieve here. So if proof can't be provided we are just suppose to take it on good faith from a complete nobody on another board that has nothing to do with ours? We are staying safe by asking questions and verifying the information. What else is it that you are trying to achieve here??

The general public doesn't understand the intracacy of the legal system at a high level. And just like in this possible false story, MANY assumptions are being made on how the legal system works, most of which is completely misunderstood.
I'm here to educate my Meso friends. You don't believe me? That's fine with me.
Like I said to begin with, I have no idea if this is true or false as I don't really care.
But when I see people state naive comments that can lead to THEM being in trouble and risk their families safety, you bet I'll go look to give advice to those who "want" to receive it.

The legal system is pretty text book my friend. And i haven't seen anybody on here make any assumptions about how anything works. The only things that can change the standard due process is money, connections, and information. You are suggesting the law changes from person to person? Lol thats laughable honestly.

The legal system ABSOLUTELY changes from state to state, county to county, judge to judge, police officer to police officer. CULTURE plays a big part of it. The legal stystem IS NOT FAIR!
Does it change on paper? NO!
It DOES change based on the culture and the "interpretation" of it and the "discretion" that is allowed. Also, the system is run by HUMANS who absolutely have illogical emotions that can change the "flow" of things normally.
Good luck since you obviously know it all and are a lawyer because you had a grow house.
You seem to be looking for a dispute, however I have none. I'm just putting out education. You can dismiss it as you please.
