Ok nvm thanks!Yeah you can , but if you go to the homebrew forum there's a great sticky thread "capping 101" that pretty much lays it out step by step ...

Refilter. It sucks loosing time and a little oil but the risk/reward factor compared to the lost cash isn't worth it in my opinion.
Sorry to hear about that. It happened to me twice with plastic systems, went glass and never looked back

I have a couple more plastic ones that I need to use up first but was thinking about using glass in the future. What filter and bottle do you guys use. I know a lot of guys use the whatman zap cap but what about the bottle. Do you just use a regular screw top media bottle. You're right. Went glass and haven't had any collapsed bottles or any problems at all. No matter how careful you are with the plastic bottles, it's bound to happen.

Since you are going to be sterilizing the media bottle before you filter anyway I would just use that for storage. If you have multiple compounds to filter then I would use the plastic receiver bottles for storage, yes. I do not know how long you can have the plastic exposed to chemicals though. I'm not sure if they are intended for long term storage.Yeah I'm pretty sure they both are. Maybe I'll get one or two glass media bottles to filter into then transfer to the plastic storage bottle that came with the filters. They come sterile so I can use them for storing finished products and use the filters with the glass bottles. That sound like a reasonable idea. I paid for the whole setup already so I might as well use them just separately. Does that make sense.
Yeah that's true. I was planning to brew what I have just so I don't possibly ruin the raws. Was eventually planning on transferring to vials. Maybe I'll just transfer sooner rather than later. Can't see it being to much of a problem if they are in the plastic containers for a few weeks.Since you are going to be sterilizing the media bottle before you filter anyway I would just use that for storage. Yeah I know I'm just being cheap since the autofils came with storage and caps@Thegreek you can't get some septa caps for media bottles. Those come in handy and are very convenient.
Your concern is air got in the finished product?Little help please. Last night I was brewing and was at the end of filtering. I had just added a little more GSO to the autofil filter I was using to pull the remaining hormone out and get to my final level. All of a sudden I lost vacuum while pumping and could hear gurgling. When I would continue to pump the filtered oil would bubble like the vacuum was in the finished part. I noticed this morning that the neck had cracked and I guess broke the seal. My question is I was pretty much done filtering at this point. Do you think I have to refilter the whole thing or can I just transfer to a sterile container.
No not really. I guess the question would be if the media bottle broke while filtering could I have damaged the filter in some way that would have allowed unfiltered product in to the final product. Which would now mean unsterile hormone was added to the final sterile hormone.Your concern is air got in the finished product?

My first thought was I wonder what it does to tissue over time... Yeah, glass for sure.I used pure EO with all my gear and my plastic container i swear fucking started dissolving around day 3-4 started seeing OIL spills in my box of goodies. Just switch to Glass as Ickyrica said.... Or maybe it was cracked and I was didn't notice

Can you explain what you can't explain a little better? What do you mean by Weird?
You're a monster!! I will never use EO again. Feels weird. Idk how to explain it but it does not jive with my body.
