Recovery Log!! (in HM ONLY)

Adding Clomid X2 per week

Protocol
Tamoxifen 10mg daily
Clomid 12.5mg X2 per week (wed, sat)
Vitamin d3 10,000ius
Horny Goat Weed 900mg

Will retest labs in two weeks.

Once T levels are between 300-400 will tapper down Tamoxifen to 3X per wk maintenance dose.

Considerably better workout this morning. I wonder if Clomid is better at HPTA recovery than Tamoxifen.

Hopefully the synergy with both works well and once I'm recovered Tamoxifen maintains my levels.

Bloodwork
Mon Jan 23rd
Testosterone 8.3 nmol/L range: 8.4 - 28.8 nmol/L
LH: 3.1 range 1.0 - 7.0 IU/L
FSH: 2.0 range 1.0 - 8.0 IU/L

Mon Jan 30th
Testosterone 8.1 nmol/L range: 8.4 - 28.8 nmol/L
LH: 3.8 range 1.0 - 8.0 IU/L
FSH: 2.2 range 1.0 - 8.0 IU/L

So my LH and FSH has risen slightly but my total testosterone is about the same.

Before I started TRT in 2010, my morning lab draws were around 7.5nmol/L so I dont expect much improvement in the total testosterone. This is probably as good as it's going to get.

Overall I feel OK.
Mood is more stable.
Energy is about the same.
Strength is slightly down and i've lost some weight in my torso and face.

Libido is low but getting morning erections.

This is probably as good as it's going to get "natty" for me at 35 after 6 years on testosterone. My libido will probably improve as my body rebalances itself but the main objective of this was mood stability which I do feel more stable *overall* mood wise with my own endogenous hormones.

It's not perfect, but this is probably as good as it's going to get.

I can PROBABLY boost this level to around 10nmol/L if I eat right, get good sleep, lift heavy, take the right vitamins, lower my stress, etc etc etc

Anything beyond that is unrealistic I think.

I got upto 11.5nmol/L on wellbutrin while natural but I dont like that med.

**UPDATE
Feeling pretty good. Still off treatment.
It feels like the Tamoxifen is actually boosting my T now (versus when I first started taking it it felt like i was taking nothing)

Will quantify with blood tests in two weeks.

I plan to take Tamoxifen 2X week indefinetly once levels reach 10+ nmol/L.

I feel like SERMS do take some time to "work" and even if they raise LH/FSH the testicles may not respond right away. So there is a lag time between the testicles and the pituitary signal. It feels like my body is finally responding to the Tamoxifen.

It hasnt even been a month. You need at least 12 weeks. I wouldnt be focused on recovery at this point. Obviously using pct but dont expect results on mood and everything else; its ridiculously early. If you get some benefits now, then great but i still wouldnt hyperfocus this early in the game. Its a total waste of mind space.

I was doing Beta Hcg injections for 3-4 weeks too.
So i was hoping my HPTA would hit the ground running with the serms.
But yeah, still fairly early.

Will recheck levels in a few weeks.

New blood results!!!!

LH 3.5 1.0 - 7.0 IU/L
FSH 2.4 1.0 - 8.0 IU/L
Testosterone 12.1 nmol/L

THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!!! :)

Even on the gel my results were around 13nmol/L so natty at 12 is GREAT!! :)

I am so pumped!!!

My recovery is a SUCCESS!!!

Rechecked levels just for peace of mind. They are about the same.

T: 12.7nmol/L
LH: 3.6 1.0 - 7.0 IU/L
FSH: 2.0 1.0 - 8.0 IU/L

I feel OK mood is more stable ; I did an afternoon blood draw too and it was 8.6nmol/L so that's not too bad either. And my free bioavailable testosterone is fairly good too.

Tyler, can you calculate your total T level so we know what it means with regards to the standard 300-900 range? Dont know what 12.7 means. Also what about free T?

It's around 370(close enough to 400 for me)
Free bioavailable T was fairly decent in mid-range but cant remember the exact number.

Tyler,

How do you feel energy wise in the evening compared to in the mornniing after you wake up. Can you stay up late if you want? any difference to being on trt for you?

Hmm. Good question.
Mornings are ok. Some fatigue but not too bad.

One thing I'm liking is feeling more consistent everyday. There's no up and down feeling anymore. It's also comforting knowing my own baseline of endogenous testosterone is solid. 12 versus 4. I'm waking up with morning wood too. Mental clarity is good.
