Rob's log part 2 (gonna take a crack at PLing)

Gotta agree with Doc. I know ive never run shieko, but my last program I was sneaking in on days off in the beginning. Halfway through it was killing me so I had to give up and stick to what the paper said

I'll be alright with block 29 and maybe some of block 30 but it won't be doing much beyond that point. I've still been doing 6 days a week right now. Once I get into double squat double bench days it'll take every second I can get to recover.

I have no doubt you know what youre doing.

I think thats the one thing that got me about my last PL program. It had something for all body parts. Even hit tri's. But there was no bicep centric work. Sure chin-ups, pulls ups, and barbell rows will help with the size, but no work to create that roundness I was so used to having.

I'm right there with you brother. Every chance I get I got DBs in my hammering
out some curls. My program is very limited in movements. DL with a few variations. Flat bench. Tiny tiny bit of incline. Good mornings. Dips. lunges. Squats with a few variations. I think I get one OHP day the entire first month. I love me some side raises like it's nobody's business. Same with curls.

I still sneak in some lateral raises and shrugs. Shhh. Dont tell Doc.
 
A little refeed for tomorrow. I ate 1 and a half of these bad boys. Those California frozen pizzas taste amazing. My favorite is the BBQ chicken

Funny story. Just today I went to lunch and there was a lady in front of me who ordered a deli sandwich. She had appearantly asked for extra cheese and they had given her one slice. So she is yelling at the people who work there over cheese. Like full on screaming. (It was even funnier because the lady was like 5"5 and 220 lbs).
Finally they agreed she could have another slice while about 50 people are looking at this fat lady go HAM over cheese. It took everything I had not to make a fat joke in front of her (plus it wouldve taken me a few minutes to walk around her to get to the front).

No moral. Just funny seing someone get so worked up over a slice of cheese.
 
Some of my best real life friends are lactose intolerant....just sayin.

If you make cheese illegal it would just get worse. There would be an illegal cheese trade. People sneaking cheese across the border. Keistering it. There would be a forum with a cheese underground and shady cheese dealers from overseas hustling newbies.

how are you doing deadlifts from boxes? Getting more comfortable with deadlifting up to knees?

I don't know her name but she is sexy AF

DL to knees are tough for me still. I'm straightening my legs too early. It's hard to learn for with 300+ pounds. Lol. From the boxes I like. Those seem pretty comfortable.
 
I'm not a fan of the deadlifts to knees either, feels too much like a failed deadlift for me.
I'm fairly new to DLs in general. Probably only been doing them for about a year max now. I did them years ago but I had no clue what I was doing and probably caused more harm than good. Before this year I hadn't touched them much at all for probably 3-4 years. So still trying get a good solid form down and then throwing in variations has me all jacked up lol
