    Working on catching up on everyone's log I lurk most so it's a ton of reading too, hard to hit them all.

I've have your log 2 on my watch the one you started in November, nearly done catching up as I was lazy on reading logs once my pct started cause it was making me jealous :oops:

Lol. I understand. It's hard enough during PCT as it is let alone watching someone else blasting away

I do like your log though as are stats are closer and you are a man I'm trying to chase to catch up with on the big 3. First week of PCT I was only logging on for the meso powerlifting corner and for my chats but now I'm over the rough hump so time to get lifting large!

The logs are great ways to get the motivation needed to accomplish goals. I don't even know where to expect to end once my first Sheiko run is done
 
So just a quick summary of recent events I did not get to go train the past 3 days but I'm going to be able to do my heavy chest session tomorrow morning and my workout 2 on Monday morning. Then I will be taking a week off as I've been given a weeks stay at a lodge with free skiing and 2 snowmobiles provided as a thank you for services rendered on xmas. So 28-3 I'll be knee deep in powder, if anybody else are big skiers I'll update ya on the days and make this the "rodgerthat adventure log" too ;)

I assume you use barbells as ski poles.

No excuses. Go Rocky style when he was preparing to fight the Russian. Cut down some trees, pull shit on a sled, whatever you got do.

Just joking bro. Have fun on your vacation. Personally, I'd rather drink some cocoa with a snow bunny by the fire then ski but that's just me. Be safe, don't want any injuries that will keep you out of the gym.

Ya man can't bring my snow bunny but I'm able to bring my friend so we will rip for a couple days that's good cardio for sure then some backcountry stuff. Injury prevention is number 1 on the trip though as I wouldn't want it to set me back plus I have to be able to ski for my job too so can't wreck myself
 
Hit my heavy chest day this morning kinda went off script a little for some fun.

Bench press with slingshot 3x3 295lbs
Brench press singles 295, 315 (new Pr but was probably only 95% of what I can get)
Bench press 2x3 265lbs and an AMRAP of 8
Incline bench 185lbs 2x6
Weighted dips 45lbs 3x6
Cable lifts 2x8 30lbs
Cable flys 2x8 45lbs
Tricep extension 120lbs plus my buddy putting his hand on top for more weight roughly 30 pounds more 3x12 (Dumbbells only go to 120 so screwed there and I find them so easy)
Tricep rope push downs 30lbs 3x16
Long ass stretch after and 5 mins on the treadmill as I'm feeling beat up from work so trying to loosen up a bit.

Current weight 184lbs at 10.5% BF but I feel like I look around 12% BF
This is also 3rd week of PCT for me so I'm happy with the progression
 
Hit a early am workout this morning before I left for the week in the hills. Ran on 4 hours of sleep but managed to hit all my workout numbers and for fun I did an AMRAP squat after but stopped once I thought my speed would slow on the way up in order to not fry myself a for deadlifts. I also did another one rep max on deads so I could get you boys a video of me.

Squats 315 5x5 last set being an AMRAP of 8
OHP 155 5x5
Deadlift: 135x5 225x5 315x5 420x5 495x1 315x16
Shrugs 315 4x10
Strict wide grip pull ups BW 3x10





My camera man sucks at keeping my superhero identity a secret but it's good enough for me.

I'm off for a week now to have a skiing vacation! Showed up to the lodge and there was a fridge full of beer and chips and baked goods so my diet will be carbs and more carbs. Training will continue in full swing next week but I plan on being a normal human for this week and appreciate the great beers Canada has to offer
 
Oh ya forgot to mention I have tentivaily signed up for a meet at the end of March. I will compete in the 83kg section (183lbs) and am hopeing for 1250+ total (tested fed so will not be able to cycle until the day after or night once I'm done the meet):D. Once my squat is back to where I want it I will change over to a peaking program, whether I design my own or use a pre existing I'm not entirely sure as of yet.

How do the tested feds work? Meaning how do they do their testing?

If you place you get tested and then there are random tests as well, I wanted to go to an untested competition but no comp will happen near me that works in my timeframe, I'd have to go out of province for that and that's such a long drive that I'd end up screwing my day before recovery. Also I only have 2 hours between weigh ins and when I need to do my squat so I'm not even going to be able to do that much body manipulation :( but hey for the category I have to enter my numbers are right up there so that's sweet.
