Consistency is everything
6 straight months around 50 miles a week
I track my mileage on my shoesThat's some good mileage. How often do you need new running shoes?
Welcome to the thread brothaGreat initiative! Will post up here as I go as an avid runner.
What model of shoes are you working with?I track my mileage on my shoes
But most shoes get me around 350 miles
I am heavy sweater so I definitely need two pairs at least to rotate every other day!
Definitely love new running shoes though! I have a stack of em right now!
Right now I am really loving my asics rotation of the novablast 5 and the superblast 2. If you like something softer the gel nimbus 27 is coming out so the 26 should have a great sale price! What model of shoes are you working with?
I’m gonna look into those. I’ve been stuck on mizuno wave. Went to a run demo a couple weeks ago and tried the mizuno Neo vistas, very cool shoe, it goes on like a bootie or sock, really liked them!I’m gonna look into those. I’ve been stuck on mizuno wave. Prophecy for a while and I need to find some new shoes!
Test is still gonna heal you up way better than any peptides but I get staying natural if you can!I'm here for the recovery peptides for healing ongoing running injuries or borderline injuries. I peak about 140 km a week with 4000 m elevation gain. Mainly run ultras. I like a 5k as well, working on my pb of 17 flat currently. Last week touch over 90 km. Doing the 3x sub threshold training per week for last couple months. Switch back to ultra training in couple months. Just a serious hobbyist.
I hear you. Bpc and tb are serving my needs currently, cleaned up a hip issue in 1 week that was there for 3 months . I'm spectrum and haven't run aas in 20 years so the planning to optimise test and pct would take more effort than I'm willing to put in right now . Do love running though, keeps me levelled.Test is still gonna heal you up way better than any peptides but I get staying natural if you can!
I only ended up in this world because all the running I do was eating up all my test.I hear you. Hope you enjoy the journey! I can recommend the book 'Training for the Uphill Athlete' as a good guide to the ultra training world if you're interested. Fortunately my test is still there albiet lowish normal range. Hemat and hgb is shot though, too much pavement pounding apparently.I only ended up in this world because all the running I do was eating up all my test.
I have plantar fasciitis I can’t shake and haven’t been able to do speed work in a minute but think I might be able to do a zone 2 ultra on it , so think that’s gonna name my adventure heading into spring!
