Sadie's First Anavar Cycle

Thank you!! I started 15mg last Monday. So far so good. Is your wife a member here? Will she be starting a log? I’d love to see her progress!
She has read your thread but not displayed interest in documenting her own journey. I think it would be really good for her to post here, a lot of great information to be learned. I'll point her here tonight and see what she says.

I have a new pimple on my back and one forming on my face. Best I can describe my oily skin, when I wake up in the morning it looks like I rubbed my face with a stick of butter.
That’s probably my most annoying side. We will see how I react to 20mg dose. If shit gets weird, I’ll drop back down. I’ll post workout later. I’m super tired. Worked both jobs yesterday. 15hrs. [emoji17] The day after is always a struggle but I’m going to beast mode back and biceps when I get home.

FML it was a struggle. I'm just so exhausted. Not enough hours in the day. Very painful pumps in forearms. My forearms hurt so bad, it was hard to focus on the bicep contraction. I took my taurine yesterday too. [emoji53]

I'm feeling good at the higher dose. It's only been a day though. I didn't sleep too well last night. Today is leg day. I'm hoping these knees don't cause me any trouble. Looking to hit a new squat PR. (fingers crossed) I'm so irritable lately. My boyfriend keeps making jokes about roid rage. lol. I told him my fuse is so short and I've been doing one hell of a job not taking anyone's head off. My patience and tolerance are shit. Other than that, sides have not changed. Keeping an eye out though. If I need to go back down on the dose, I will. I'll update my workout tomorrow.

Yea, the pumps are terrible. I saw great physical and strength gains from anavar, but I just can't use it in my powerlifting training because the back pumps just aren't worth it! Couldn't even finish deadlifts some days!

Tolerating 20 mg well. Sides right now are irritability, oily skin, a few pimples, trouble sleeping, extreme thirst, bloating (tummy feels so full), and lady parts may be slightly swollen.

I have not had trouble sleeping until I bumped the dose up. Last night I woke up burning up and sweating. I hope it was just because I forgot to turn the fan on but I fear the increased dose has something to do with it.

I'm heading back out of town this weekend and again next weekend. I'm so frustrated with the travel stuff. I'm nearing the end of my cycle and I want to be on top of my game. It messes up my whole routine when I travel. I'm going to try to keep my macros in mind this time though.

So far I am blown away by my results. Yesterday I wore a tank top and my boss mentioned my muscles. Said he had no idea I worked out like that. Later I went to a store with my daughter and the girl at the register said "Wow, you have really nice arms" Made my night! It's incredible to watch my body change like this. [emoji16]

You said that your lady parts are swollen a bit, my wife is on 5 milligrams and her lady Parts have not swollen up yet however we always intended to put her on 10+ mg after a few weeks. I have definitely noticed an increase in sex drive and the wetness is at least double. It's extremely erotic, I absolutely love her on anavar..... so to my question, Did you start to see enlargement after only at 20 mg? Was it before that? My wife is very paranoid about her lady parts after seeing photos online so I'm trying to assuage her fears. Thank you so much, and thank you so much for this journal!

I think everyone reacts differently. For me, I didn’t notice any swelling until I bumped it to 20. It’s nothing too crazy. I hadn’t looked at photos online until you mentioned it. Some things just can’t be unseen. [emoji102]

I definitely have experienced an increase in my sex drive. Everything feels more intense due to the sensitivity down there. My orgasms are unreal. So much more intense. I’m going to miss that when this run is over.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning. I was 124.8 yesterday.

I had a really nice trip this weekend. I ate one cheat meal and then back on track. Friday and Saturday were both forced rest days because of my trip. I got back in town on Sunday and smashed legs and shoulders. Yesterday I worked both jobs so it was rest day too. Today I'll train back, biceps and glutes.

I'm feeling good at 20 mg per day. Sadly it seems to be affecting my sleep in a bad way. I wake up during the night and toss and turn. Yesterday I woke up at 4:30am and never went back to sleep. I hate my sleep being messed up. Makes me an ill bitch. [emoji35] Besides that, sides are the same. Oily skin is super gross. I feel less bloated the last few days. Lady parts are a bit swollen and super sensitive. Drinking insane amounts of water. Sometimes my face gets really red and I feel super hot. I've periodically checked my blood pressure throughout my cycle and it's been great. Trying to keep my calories around 2100. Scale has been steady climbing.

I am sooooo pleased with my progress so far. Literally every day now someone notices the changes. Yesterday I went to the bank and the teller commented about never seeing me dressed in regular clothes (I was wearing a tank top and jeans). "Wow, you work out don't you? You're walking in here looking like a personal trainer." Later my boss at the 2nd job commented on me looking like one big muscle. Day makers!! I love how others are taking notice!

She has only been on 2 or 3 weeks but it is going really well. Huge increase in muscle size, huge increase in strength. I asked her if she wanted to bump it up to 10mg but she said no, she is still paranoid about growth. She, like you, is unable to erase what she saw online and is paranoid. Still, a first cycle at 5mg the entire time sounds fine to me, she can always go for 10mg next time. The stuff is magic for women, its amazing how pumped her muscles are, sexy.
We are going to Cuba for 10 days starting tomorrow but she displayed interested in starting a journal when she gets back so hopefully she goes through with it and can get some pointers from everyone. It's nice to be around like-minded people!

It's pretty crazy how all of a sudden everything can happen. I didn't realize how much var can have an affect until I went through a cycle. Specifically I remember a couple friends saying wow what have you been doing

How I fit into cloths differently and how doing simple tasks my muscles just popped.

Sounds like your wife is doing great.

If she's already getting results at 5 I would stay there a bit. Bumping things up to 10 might help depending on her goals

In my opinion growth is best higher. I found I could reshape certain areas.

Specifically: I could add muscle in my glutes and back and really loved how that made my physique different.

What are her goals?
And when you say huge difference in 3 weeks..what does that mean?

Things are going so great on 20mg! I wish I had bumped the dose sooner in my cycle. I wasn't sure how I would tolerate the higher dose and since this was my first cycle, I suppose it's better to be cautious. I know that in the future I will run 20mg. I've decided to extend my cycle to 10 weeks so I can get another full week at 20mg and then taper the last week.

My sides are the same. Oily skin, increased thirst, increased libido (omfg), high energy, restless sleep, swollen lady parts, bloating, irritable, muscle cramps...
No voice change. No weird hairs. No noticeable hair loss.

Yesterday I got a flu shot and felt like total shit last night. My muscles were sore as shit. I had a headache. Ugh... I felt back to normal this morning. The plan is to hit legs tonight. Honestly I am sore as shit all over but I want to really put my all in to these last couple of weeks. We will see how it goes. Def don't want to injure myself. I'll decide when I get home.

Trained legs yesterday. I cut it short when the biggest spider in all the land dropped down from the ceiling in my garage. My boyfriend came out to kill it but lost it instead. I was beat and decided that was that. I'll hit hamstrings and glutes with shoulders today or tomorrow. Spiders are no bueno.

No changes in sides except that I slept like a damned rock last night. I never woke until my alarm when off this morning. It was AMAZING and much needed.

My caliper sucks ass. I ordered one at the beginning of my cycle and returned because it sucked. This one is no better. I don't feel its super accurate, however I do know I have lost some body fat despite the fact that I've been eating at a surplus and gaining weight throughout my cycle. This makes me happy!!! My plan when this cycle is over is to continue to eat at a surplus and focus my energy on bulking throughout the end of the year. I'll wait 8 weeks before I start my next anavar cycle and will probably run primo after that. I am a little concerned about my ability to keep up the momentum off cycle. Anavar definitely gives me a boost and helps me push harder. I'm a little sad it's coming to an end. Anyway, here's my workout from last night.
