Playing catch up. I've been super busy. I was out of town this weekend again. Last weekend of travel until mid-November. Whew...It's fun but exhausting. I had the best time though! Not a single macro was counted this weekend and zero fucks were given. I ate so much food. I enjoyed life. Had a blast. Took my son to see his favorite band (also one of my favorites). Stayed my old ass after the show to meet the lead singer. Snapped a photo of my son with him. My son was on top of the world. It was great.
I did train Sat before we left and Mon when I got home. Holy shit, I did not want to workout yesterday. We were out until 2 am Sunday night and then drove back 4 hrs. I came right in and changed and started fixing my pre workout. It was a struggle but I have to say, I'm glad I pushed myself and did it. I haven't been to the gym in months. I workout in my garage where I have everything I need. Power rack, leg extension, hack squat/leg press, cable crossover machine, power stack dumbbells and multiple other dumbbells... I keep a gym membership for the hottest part of the summer and coldest part of winter. I honestly hate going to the gym. Who wants to get stuck waiting on equipment if you don't have to? That being said, I haven't done any pull ups because I don't have the assisted pull up machine and I have always struggled with pull ups. I HATE them. Yesterday I decided, fuck it, and tried pull ups unassisted. I was so excited to be able to do 3 rounds of 5. OMG!! I know that's not a lot but I really suck at them, so this is awesome for me!
I'm feeling pretty good still. Just worn out. Going, going, going. My hips and knees have been really sore. I broke down and ordered knee sleeves. They will arrive Thursday. I don't plan to squat a thing until they arrive. I am hoping these will help me break through and hit another PR before this cycle is over. My knees are causing me so much trouble. We will see. Can't wait to try them out on Thursday.
Other than that, sides are the same. I am tolerating the 20 mg dose very well. I am so pleased with my results. Sat morning I went out right after my workout and the cashier at the store asked if I was a body builder or planning on competing. It made my day. I've never had so many people comment on my figure before. It's pretty amazing. I'm so proud of all of the hard work I've put in.
Anyway, today is rest day because I work both jobs. I'll update more later in the week.
