Second Assassination Attempt

Whoa.

Two assassination attempts on a former President within 9 weeks.

Good thing these assassins do not have a clue how to operate a rifle or even choose the correct rifle for the job. Too bad the secret service is incompetent.

Gerald Ford had two assassination attempts 17 days apart, though. That has to be a record. Both women, and they could not operate their guns properly and did not even seem to know how to chamber bullet in the second case, Squeaky got within arms reach of him but could not shoot him because the chamber on her Colt 1911 was empty.

Discuss.

Why are assassins so clueless?

Will this second attempt have any effect at the polls in November?

Will the secret service get their act together?

Well I'm glad they didn't succeed. We're seeing some improvement in things here. Under the new administration and new leadership, I think the Secret Service is operating much better now.

I think it did have an effect on things, in the election and everything. People are tired of that woke bs. The borders were f$%@#, CRT rampant in classrooms across the country, crime was really high, illegal crossing enormous, woke ass military, high inflation, gas prices astronomical, grocery prices astronomical, the list goes on.

I think the Biden erra offered that, "everyone's a winner, everyone gets trophy, everyone should feel oh so good" vibe, but that's not what helps a country continue. People saw what happened, and it wasn't good. Trump might be pushy, and he says some things that have ya going, "Holy shit! Did he just say that?" lol that's Trump. However, IMO, there's a NIGHT AND DAY difference in almost every category. It's starting to feel more like the USA.

The tariff deal . . . How will that affect us when it comes to AAS? I wish I knew the answer to such a thing. Right now it feels like things might sting for a bit. The USA and China are battling it out and China is where we get our AAS from, so it seems like that will sting for us for a bit. I think China is going to cave pretty soon though, sorry for those here that might be from there, I mean no ill will toward ya. I think it's just a matter of time.

nice to see a fresh breath of common sense around here. i feel blessed to live in america and have trump as my president but many people are super paranoid worrying constantly about it. i think it really boils down to people valuing truth v.s people valuing opinion. God bless you

Thank you. God bless you too my dude. Let's watch and see how things turn out, a lot of that paranoia comes from the media, they just constantly lie about things and spin narrative unless it's something from the Left. There's a lot of folks from Hollywood and all aspects of entertainment changing their perspective though, look at Bill Maher, he's about as left as it gets. He's been slamming the left though, and he event went and met up with Trump. He had nothing but good things to say surround their get together, he even says Trump is awesome.

I think the tariffs scare investors, they see the stock market and how it's reacting, but I think that comes from knee jerk reaction. As a lot of companies bring back manufacturing into the US, that will change. Drives up job opportunities for folks as well. I think that will help decrease inflation additionally, when people have money, they're more inclined to spend.
