Have you or your doc calculated or measured your GFR recently.

You can't use the lab estimate bc they are GROSSLY inaccurate since WEIGHT is not included in that formula.

Im going to try and get in next week and do bloodwork and go from there . Like I said I havent tested in a while , dont know what I'll find , lol.

Your the type of Vet Meso, or any other exercise forum, needs more of Volt.

Now i'm referring to a specific virtue of yours many Vets lose "with experience". And that is an uncanny ability to appreciate, integrate and practically apply suggestions or advice from others regardless of their training level.

hey op not sure if you are still wondering what is up with your BUN
i might be able to give a little insight as i had a similiar situation

i was given a 24 urine test with my doc after my bun came back way high
i explained to him i get 200gs of protein daily (it was funny seeing him act like his mind was blown)
we did a 24 hour urine analysis to make sure my kidneys were clearing the nitrogen
which it came back fine that it was
so the high BUN doesnt matter if your body is clearing all of it fine
do the same if it stresses you out
