Steroids and drugs but what about the basics? (good old Diet and Training)

Big Paul joined in 2003, when I was still a kid. It's more than enough to take your word for it.

I was just talking about more recent times here. People take more drugs than ever and are even more out of shape.

Also, here I talk in more detail about the diet.
Sorry man got to clarify this one. People in general are more out of shape. Well im going to piss people off as usual but i have to do a when i was a kid. Lets say 1980 i was 13. I lived in a town of 5000 people. It was a special event once a year we would load up the car and drive 70mile to the only kfc. Fuck it was nice. So it was hard to get fat and lazy. Easy now.
But if you are talking about body builders or just guys who workout they are in better shape today no question. I did one state body building show in my life. I was 27 and shonky calapers on just three spots said i was 12%. More like 15% if greg doucett is 10% year round. Best guy there would have been todays 8%. So no. The average guy in the gym today on some gear without any prep would have beaten all the guys who preped for months. It is a world of extremes. Extremely fat and extremely in shape. As for today people using tons of gear im not sure. But i can say when i competed the guys on gear used vets and got bladders of test sustanon deca clen stanazol. But they used vet grade stuff. No ugl. Us average guys were so media frightened we wouldnt touch it.
So im saying the guys today who just train year in and year out never intending to compete are way better than we were preping dieting. Wont tell you how i did in my one and only show. Ive been told no one cares about the old days. You guys today are in fantastic shape. The guys who win state today would have beaten pros in the 80s.

Like a lot of people you see on the street, looking for an easy way out...

The only thing that bothers me is that steroids get credits, but not you for your work you put in.
It is human nature to simplify and look for simple ways. But as a rule, this path leads to the wrong steps.

love this post and it's a great reminder for others who are trying to optimize things. good training, diet, and sleep are key - and experimenting with these is way easier than trying a new drug

You're right on man but for the most part what I've seen on here is a lot of guys are not receptive to nutrition input. They don't want to listen if it isn't what they want to hear.

They want to do it the easy way. They want to hear that their way of doing it is right even though they're not getting the results they could. They want that balance bs. Or better yet it's yeah my diet is great it's just that I need different steroids
My favorite is when guys are asked about their diet and they say "it's perfect".

No asshole. You just finished a bag of Doritos. Don't lie through your teeth to us like that.
