Did you find the filters and the vials on Amazon? I think I’m going to do this with the vials I didn’t find any floaters in. It seems pretty easy so it wouldn’t hurt to do I guess
I wouldnt use amazon for sterile vials. Mine were really crappily crimped, where real places were 10 x better and reliable. Syringes are fine on amazon since they come packaged from a reliable company.
My vials seemed like someone did it in there house. So never again.

Also, everyone should be aware that they should be ordering STERILE syringe filters. There are non sterile and sterile filters on amazon.

I’m going to take some time this week to check out multiple medical supply companies as well as amazon. Definitely seems easy!

I do 25 mm .22 micron and use nylon because they work for anything for our purposes BA, BB, oil. Where other ones have certain parameters that i dont care to look up. I have done 120 mL fine. And squeezing the fuck out of the syringe to where my hands hurt using a 3 mL syringe. Going to try 5 mL for now on. It takes roughly an hour for the whole process. Including cleaning properly and sterilizing

Yeah I was thinking a 5ml syringe as well. You get pre sealed sterile vials right?

Correct. I went thru this years ago after a stopper broke up and I got everything from one of the big needle supply sites. Vial, filter, and large syringe.

And like one guy said, go slowwww. I went too fast towards the end and busted the filter. It's going to especially suck if you're running hgh when you filter.

Anyone tally up how many vials were shipped out with floaters? I was thinking SYM holds the record now? I can’t recall seeing one source with so many dirty vials. Come to think of it all the sources combined haven’t produced this many contaminated vials.

Since the subject of sterile needles is being brought up, are the vet grade needles from tractor supply or somewhere like that considered sterile? I've always used them with no issues but I never looked into it.

Hey guys, my quick recent experience. I ordered my stuff right a couple weeks ago then everything started blowing up about floaters so obviously I was a little nervous. Anyway, got my stuff late last week and inspected it all yesterday when I got back and I didn’t see anything in it. Obviously sym was probably being more cautious on the final orders after people cake forward about floaters so it was probably QC but I didn’t have anything floating around in mind. Figured I’d let y’all know.

I'd still filter it brother if you're not tossing. This issue only came up like a little over week ago if I'm not mistaken not a couple weeks ago.

Not sure how relevant this is but is it common to have a chunk of the filter cap rubber pop off into the vial? If that does happen I know you’d want to avoid injecting that foreign material in your body but what do you do with the rest of the vial? Filter it? Or draw as usual and visually inspect each injection to make sure it’s not in there?

I backload insulin syringes but use a 20g needle to draw so the chances of something coming off is possible.
