Any of you guys use this to shed fat? I am trying to lose about 10lbs and searching for an alternative to Clen... I am running a high pro diet with med carbs and low saturated fats, it just isn't working as well as i would like.

Thanks for all of the help so far guys...

Hey Big K... i noticed on an old thread that you had used T3... did you like? what were your results?

I have a script for an albuterol inhaler that I never use... not sure the mg... is that the same or would I take an oral?

The inhaler will not give you the amount of albuterol you would need for fat loss. The cem-meso store sells albuterol. Albuterol 30 ML 6 MG/ML

i've used cem's albuterol, t3 and keto mix. good stuff. the keto allows you to use the albuterol for longer stretches.

Would it be ok to do that combo in conjunction to a cycle? And what results did you get for there stuff?

yes, definately good with a cycle. some folks wouldn't even consider t3 without aas due to it's catabolic affects.

i couldn't give you exact results because i wasn't keeping good record of the cycle. it was just the alb/t3/keto i was using and i lost about 10lbs in 3 weeks. wasn't a 100% on point with my diet. i couldn't have lost that 10lbs without the alb/t3 with the lack of a consistent diet. i was definately sweating alot and got the shakes from the alb. one thing i've learned later on with using helio's while on cycle. don't do a stimulant and then try and pin your aas while shaking, lol. shaking and pinning don't mix.

lol... I don't imagine that would work... I try to go easy on coffee those mornings to avoid that same situation... Funny what experience teaches us huh... What kind of dosage are we talking about for each?

For all of you advocates of T3, a/k/a cytomel, the use of this drug is not without unexpected and unwanted effects. This study was in healthy young men (e.g., bodybuilders). Essentially, for every 2 pounds of fat loss, there is 1 pound of muscle loss!!! And the length of the study, 9 weeks, is slightly less than a typical AAS cycle leading to more muscle loss. Is it worth it when all of that work is done to gain muscle?

Lovejoy JC, Smith SR, Bray GA, et al. A Paradigm of Experimentally Induced Mild Hyperthyroidism: Effects on Nitrogen Balance, Body Composition, and Energy Expenditure in Healthy Young Men. J Clin Endocrinol Metab 1997;82(3):765-70.

Although T3 exerts major regulatory actions in both animals and humans, most clinical studies of T3 administration have been relatively short term. The present study examined the effects of more than 2 months (63 days) of low dose T3 treatment on nitrogen balance, body composition, 24-h energy expenditure (EE), and protein turnover in seven healthy men studied at an in-patient metabolic unit. Subjects were also randomly assigned to either high or low fat diets to determine the effects of diet composition. T3 treatment produced significant losses in both lean mass (1.5 {+/-} 0.3 kg) and fat mass (2.7 {+/-} 0.4 kg) by 6 weeks, with similar reductions in both at 9 weeks. The high fat diet somewhat attenuated the loss of body fat. Nitrogen balance was significantly negative for the first 3 weeks of T3 treatment, but tended to return to baseline thereafter. There were no significant effects of treatment on protein turnover at 9 weeks, although there was a slight increase in leucine oxidation (P = 0.07). Despite the apparent adaptation in nitrogen balance, total 24-h EE and sleeping EE were significantly increased at 9 weeks. We conclude that although healthy men are able to adapt to mild hyperthyroidism in terms of nitrogen balance, they exhibit significant and persistent changes in fat and fat-free mass as well as energy balance.

Why does the doctor have to always go a mess things up with the simple truth that gear won't give us: Less fat....bigger muscles...whiter teeth....and fresher breath.....all without sides??

sorry I didnt get back....my computer crashed and just got back...anyway....I have used a lot of T3 in my day....I have pyramided from 25 mcg to 120 mcg then back down..and have used a constanct dose 0f 100-120 mcg ed for 4 weeks...personally, for me (I dont know your body) i liked the constant dose better...if your new to T3 I would say pyramid first....

the reason for pyramiding (as thought) was that your thyroid would shut down since your introducing t3 to your body...I have seen a study, and I cant remember where) that t3 usage usage would not hurt your bodies natural thryroid production....

so try it...see how your body reacts to it...try it at 25 mcg for one week 50 the next 100 the next then 120 at most...then back down the same...see how your body reacts...that should last 4 weeks...

but if not on cycle..increase your protein....

If you read the study closely, you find that the participants were eating a 15% protein diet(probably ~75g of protein if the diet was 2000kcal). It seems likely to me that the results would be different with a high protein diet and/or exogenous androgens in play. T3 doesn't have a direct catabolic effect afaik... it increases basal metabolic rate and protein turnover.
