Lol! You're right. It's such a female particular thing to do. I think we're all programmed to try get back to our birth weight. Most men I know are thrilled when the numbers on the scale go up!

Unless you were an unusually large baby or are an unusually small adult, getting back to your birth weight
would seem extremely difficult.... ;)

Anyway, nice job with this log and your physique.

You're right. It's just a mind fuck for me to be close to my 9 month pregnant weight lol. But you are right. And thank you.

We talked about this Wendy. It's just a guideline to gauge progress, and that's why I always ask for measurements along with it. Just so we know what direction we are going in. Plus keeping in mind what MP told me in regards to your very first weigh in when you're ready to kick ass! And we are still perfect there!!

Besides that, I too wanted you to burn that scale. Your super human body doesn't work on scales, only the mirror knows best. [emoji6]

Muscle weighs 3x as much as fat.
That is the dumbest statement I keep hearing from people and my biggest pet peeve! Although your 3x theory is a new one! Still wrong. A pound is a pound. Pound of fat and pound of muscle is still a pound.

It's volume! Muscle takes up less volume than fat does. Fat takes up more volume than muscle. Yes, I said that twice!

1lb fat = 1lb muscle
1lb feathers = 1lb bricks

ALL weigh a POUND [emoji4]

This reminds me of all these little logic tests my dad used to give my sister and me when we were little. "What weighs more...a pound of hammers or a pound of feathers?" Lol. He was always testing us like that. Gee. I wonder why I'm an engineer. :)

Haha that's funny because I had the same thing when I was little. I knew it was a trick though as both were a pound just a whole lot more feathers. Lol

I'm not an engineer though but I am good with math and calculations [emoji4][emoji39]

Your dad did that stuff too? I was just trying to remember another one. Something about a fox and rabbit and something else that you could only take one by one across the creek in the canoe. You couldn't leave the fox with the rabbit or it would eat it. The other thing that I can't remember would runaway. You had to sequence how you would take the animals. The rub was you had to take the fox over and then bring him back to pick up that rabbit and leave him on the other side and then come back again with the fox. Or something like that. We were single digit age when he did this so it would keep us busy for a while.

Btw can you tell it's slow at work? Lol.

Hahaha I love it! I thought my parents were the only ones that tortured me with those. .. although I thought they were fun. Thought it was a European parents thing. Lol

Yes the fox and chicken and a bag of seed or something... I remember that one so it must be similar and it was on a boat.

There were so many that I used to do... all algebra, multiplication, fractions, etc... all were when I was younger than 10!

That's it!! Wow. Those must be classics because I think I'm 12-13 years older than you. Hmmm and we DID grow up in Europe (Holland and Belgium) for a few years. Maybe that's when he did it. I can't remember. And well, neither can he. [emoji15] :). The last time he remembered we were related he thought I was his brother. Lol. Oh well. Too funny. Now I guess you get to torture your future kids/nieces/nephews/friends' kids!

It was a reference to the volume

Yes that further proves that your statement was incredibly wrong... both are 5lbs... just more volume. Fat is a bigger blob compared to a tight muscle. Both still weigh 5 lbs. 5lbs=5lbs

Weight 1 cup of fat and 1 cup of muscle let me know the outcome

But I think we understand the point. A muscular person will look smaller than a person of the same height and weight if they have no muscle and the weight consists of fat.

The muscular person is more dense (mass/volume) And in my case also dense (of a person) stupid. :)

If you want to actually be accurate, volume isn't a property one assigns to a particular material (e.g. fat vs muscle)...density is what you are going for here..
Weight 1 cup of fat and 1 cup of muscle let me know the outcome
Dude..quit while you are behind. Weight, mass, density and volume are 4 different things with 4 different sets of units. Of those 3, the only quantity which makes sense when describing a property of a material is density. The other 3 quantities are not properties of a particular material.
