Testosterone thickening blood?

i have read several reports of testosterone thickening your blood, and it may lead to blood clots. My father has had a minor bloodclot (superficial thrombosis which is on a peripheral vein not a deep vein (DVT)).

So I was just wondering has anyone experienced this side effect? I have done 4/5 cycles in the past and never used to hear about people complaining about that? Does anyone experience this? And if so, what can be done to lessen the chance While on cycle.

Plan on doing one more cycle coming up and just wanna be smart about it. I hope it’s okay that I posted this question here.

Planned on running 500-750/wk of test E. I am 30 years old. 220 lbs.

There are tons of posts about high red blood cell counts and blood thickening, try googling donating blood steroids, secondary polycythemia, and erythrocytosis

Donate ev 56days or 8 weeks. Helps others and helps you. Trt won’t always raise rbc but certain stacks will. Donating is always a good idea.

So donating your blood helps with the actual viscosity??? I did not know that.

And thanks for the heads up, I tried looking some stuff up and couldn’t find anything, I will try those key terms.

Donating blood only adress one aspect of the problem, AAS indeed promote a thrombogenic environnement via numerous pathways
Not sure I agree. In my experience blood work shows the body catches up much faster on the more viscous components than say rbc.

Make sure your always well hydrated, can swing numbers quite a bit. I'm assuming you don't get blood work done, you probably should. Not everyone has to donate. Donating too often can effect iron levels which is a big problem in itself

I've had problems with that last part. I have to supplement with iron to keep my ferritin levels up from having to keep my RBC and hematocrit down. Low iron was making me dead tired until I figured it out.
