The Decline of Western Civilation Continues Unimpeded on College Campuses

I can't say I've ever experienced, seen or even heard of police brutality. If you simply cooperate and treat them as a human doing their job these tragedies almost never happen. These people are putting their lives on the line day after day to keep people safe. They just want to go home alive and well. Point anything that looks like a guy at one and you should expect to get shot. It's real simple, just be civilized. But get buligerant, rude, threatening and then of course things are going escalate. And your not going to win. These people in Ferguson or whereever were just a bunch of malcontents looking any excuse to act like animals. Unfortunately similar situations have happened that support this theory.

I have been arrested and taken to jail several times (more than 10) and every time I was guilty of something and I never put up any struggle always respected them and I was always treated with respect except for one experience. I was 20 and I grew up around big dogs so no dog scares me at all I know how to take any 1 dog out with my hands. They came to my girlfriends house at the time and I went out the back and was hiding in a fenced in backyard. They threatened to let the dog out on me and I said you send that dog back here and I'll kill it. Bad idea , they put the dog up and came back the six deep and I got on my knees with my hands in the air and one of them kicked me right between the shoulder blades down on my face stood on me while I was being handcuffed then the stood me up and emptied a can of mace on me standing their handcuffed not struggling at all. The dog handler said don't ever threaten my dog you piece of shit. At the end of the day I was wrong , They were too. But I didn't carry a grudge around if someone threatens my dog I'll beat the shit out of them , they are humans not superman all of us are flawed they do an incredibly hard and dangerous job so you have to put it in perspective.

I'll have to remember not to ever threaten the dog. The amount to time, resources, breeding, training, etc. That goes into creating a good k9 unit probably makes them worth somewhere around 25 grand. Not to mention the fact that it's handler considers it his partner. They can do amazing things when it comes to playing hide and seek. They can stick their nose in a vehicle window and indicate the presence of all kinds of things. I think I'll take a lesson from your unfortunate experience. I've been chomped by a dog once. Nothing to do with police or illegal activity. I was at a friend of families house mowing lawn. They had a pitbull mix dog in a fenced in kennel. It was just standing there, not barking, almost looking like it wanted to be pet. I walked over to it and cautiously moved my hand so it could smell it. Bad Idea. Stupid dog chomped on my wrist as hard as it could. Deep puncture wound. Still have scar almost 20 years later. I think someone had screwed with the dog cause it wasn't right in the head. But I learned when a dog really wants to bite you it doesn't bark. It just waits until you get close enough to strike. Barking is just to try and scare you.

Theres no doubt theryre amazing dogs , I was a punk kid who was in the wrong no doubt I love dogs so I completely understand why they overreacted I would protect my dog at all costs.

City police are a fucked up lot and so are are drug task forces. There are far too many "bad apples". Corruption seems to run rampant amongst drug police, city police, and even town cops. I've seen search warrants carried out by our police agencies and they are very disturbing. Military style approaches are far too liberally being used by police organizations, and these no knock warrants for drug related searches are dangerous not only to the occupants of the homes but also to police officers.

I personally know law enforcement officers, none of them are part of any sort of drug task force. When I ask them about the drug task force they all have had similar responses indicating that they don't really like being associated with them as state police officers. They have explained that "those guys" have their own little world. I am familiar with a state that has a fairly low amount of police corruption (AS FAR AS STATE POLICE ARE CONCERNED), and almost all of the police corruption involves drug enforcement task forces and smaller local city/town police. I personally know detectives and patrol officers for state police and smaller/local police agencies. They all have a very different view on drugs enforcement than "drug police" do. These people cannot speak freely about their opinion on drug policy without risking termination. They aren't really pro drugs by any means, but they have seen how these drug laws are being enforced and question how ethical this type of policing is. They don't agree with the harsh penalties and lengthy prison sentences being handed out by the justice system. These people are primarily interested in protecting innocent people from violent offenders. Too much time and too many resources are being devoted to this war on drugs which I would argue is unconstitutional anyway (but who gives a fuck about constitutional rights any more right, the Constitution is just the backbone of this once great nation).

I don't really like demonizing police like this but honestly cops are turning a blind eye to the unethical behavior of their fellow officers. Police officers are pretty much being threatened to not question or express any concerns that do not coincide with current drug policy. They are encouraged to not "rat" on fellow officers, even if an officer's behavior is unethical or downright criminal (reminds me of gang and criminal conduct, "stop snitching"). I encourage people to read some of the information on http://www.leap.cc/ . If you find the organization interesting, I would encourage people to support it. If not for my personal experience and interactions with good police officers and my knowledge of organizations like LEAP, I may have developed a completely biased hatred for all law enforcement. Our justice system needs major reform, and it is nice to know that there are some politicians, police officers, lawyers, and judges who are openly (or even quietly) opposed to drug prohibition. These police officers (arguably the "good apples") are being deprived of their first amendment rights and being unfairly punished for voicing their opinions, even amongst fellow officers.

I never ran Into a outright "corrupt officer" until about 6 yrs ago and it actually worked in my favor big time. The cops came to my house because my girlfriend was beating on me in the front yard (i won't even raise a hand to a woman in defense of myself I wasn't raised that way) so she's screaming about pics another girl sent me on my phone and chasing me around the yard hitting me over the head with a roller pole for painting one of my tools a 8' extendable Sherlock. Anyways the cops get there witnesse her beating the shit out of me , I'm bleeding from my eye , nose , mouth and have welts all over. The reason my face was so fucked up was she started the attack while I was in bed sleeping first blow cought me squarely in the nose second in my above my eye. So they put her in the car but back then I had a shit load of pills in different bottles in my pockets I used to sleep with them when she was over because she'd use the all night if she could , so I'm standing there bleeding this cops questioning me and starts looking at the bulges in both pockets and says the usual can I pay you down for my safety I can see there's something in both front pockets of those shorts. So he pulls out one bottle 300+ methadone 10 mg. Next 2bottles sealed manufacturers 100ct. 30mg oxycodone. Next bottle 100+ 2mg xananx bars and the final bottle 160 80mg oxytocin. Keep in mid I'm a felon many times over. I'm thinking that's it I'm done I'll never see the light of day. None of these bottles had labels there was the remnants of labels where I had torn them off. I had just gotten them from 2seperate people the day before. So he asked where are the labels , I actually told this guy I have ocd and can't stop picking at labels I like to peel them off. About this time a contractor who I got the oxys and roxys from pulls up I've been using his truck and it's at my house he sees what's going on and instead of just driving by he stops gets out of his other truck and walks right up and claims the oxys and roxys he said He left them in his truck and he still had the paper work and the bag from the pharmacy so this cop actually gave him those back! Then the cop puts the methadone and xanax in his pocket and looks me right in the eye and say don't ever say the so and so agency didn't do you a favor! Walked back to his car and took my crazy x girlfriend to jail! This was the single craziest most surreal encounter I've ever had with law enforcement. So I don't know if he wanted them for himself , probably but I also thought maybe because I'm a big guy and when this happened I was running a lot of gear so I was even bigger than I am now and could have squashed that little girl like a bug and maybe he gave me a break because he respected the fact that I didn't touch her he must see a lot of scumbags who hurt women. I don't know but even though I was out some decent $ he did me a huge favor and that level of shit it's not like dumping a quarter ounce of pot and telling someone to grind it up with their foot and get lost. That was trafficking big-time I'd have been cooked. That was it for me I never helped anyone get out another script or gave anyone a ride to the Dr. or ever sold another pill again. That was the end of my selling drugs days for good and I've never looked back I never will again either.

That's quite an interesting experience. I believe you too, I can totally see something like going down. I'm just glad that your girl friend at the time is an ex. It just sucks that you had to have those things in your pocket at the time. I would suggest investing in a safe but even then a chick who's hooked on dope that you can't trust is just a completely unacceptable liability. You can get in deep shit for having a couple of those pills. So essentially the cop did you a huge favor. Who knows what he did with them. It does point to some "corruption" I guess you could say. But who cares you got off scot-free. Unfortunately I'm not sure if what the guys with the scripts said was enough to resolve the situation. Probably not, unlabelled bottles in your possesion. Maybe in court with a really good lawyer that could have worked in your favor. But it's barely believeable. I don't mess with that stuff anymore. I got scripts for the meds I take and thats the way to go. I know how ridiculous it is for people to get get access to meds like that. Which creates a huge pill blackmarket. You can thank the dea for concluding that we are ingorant and weak and aren't capable of controlling ourselves when it comes to addictive substances. I for one think I can make safe desisions as to what meds I use. Addiction sucks, but it can be controlled. If people had the right to use whatever substances they wanted then they wouldn't need to rely in these pills. They could just grow some pot or poppies and make themselves feel better the natural way. Like humans have been doing for the last 5000+ years. It's all about money, the drug companies want to control everything and make riduculous amounts of money. The concept of controlled substances is very new to human history. 200 years ago the concept would have been totally alien. What's sad is that people think it's normal.

Like I said after that I completely got out of the drug business that was it for me scared straight if you will. That was like 5 or 6 yrs ago now and I haven't sold a single thing since nothing is worth my freedom anymore I would never sell drugs again. I'll never date another woman with a drug problem either , I just got out of a relationship that was on and off for 13 yrs that episode happened when the long term on off 13 year girl was back in Ohio and we were not together and I met this little hot spinner and she moved in but got crazy really fast after she got out of jail on the battery charges I had packed up and moved never was with her after that. Now I'm finally done with the other drug addicted girl that I was with on and off for 13 yrs and I swear I don't care how good a girl looks or how good the pussy may be if they have a drug problem I'm not messing with them period.

Students hold ‘shit-in’ for gender neutral bathrooms, tell peers to check ‘potty privilege’

  • California Polytechnic University’s Queer Student Union hosted a three-day ‘shit-in’ during which students were encouraged to use “all-gender bathrooms.”

  • The group and its supporters constructed a fake toilet on campus and told their peers to “check your potty privilege.”

Students at California Polytechnic University recently held a “shit-in” to teach their peers about gender neutral bathrooms

Last Tuesday, members of Cal Poly’s Queer Student Union began circulating a petition requesting that the university add “Gender Diversity” signs to existing “all-gender bathrooms” on campus. Tuesday also kicked off the group’s three-day “shit-in” during which students were encouraged to only use gender neutral bathrooms on campus.

“Get your shit together, Cal Poly.” Tweet This

“Put yourself in the shoes of a trans*/gender non-conforming student and take the pledge to use only all gender bathrooms,” states the group’s Facebook page.

According to the petition, the public university in San Luis Obispo, Calif. currently has seventeen all-gender bathrooms, but only five are “reasonably accessible, leaving non-cisgender students with a paltry amount of options when it comes to using the bathroom.”

“When we’re talking about inclusive practices, policies and facilities for transgender and non-gender-conforming students, one of the first things that comes up is access to restrooms,” QSU’s club adviser Adam Serafin told Cal Poly’s Mustang News. “And what’s behind that is access to a safe place to use a restroom. Somewhere that is emotionally safe, but also physically safe for students.”

In addition to encouraging students to sign their petition, QSU members constructed a mock toilet in the school’s University Union Thursday that was accompanied by a large sign stating “we’ve got shit to deal with.” Passersby who were asked to sign the toilet in support of all-gender bathrooms wrote a range of messages including, but not limited to: “Get your shit together, Cal Poly” and “Poop equality.”

Event organizers advised non-transgender students to “check [their] potty privilege” and carried around signs that declared “going to the bathroom shouldn’t be a source of anxiety.”

“Gendered bathrooms pose a threat to the emotional and physical well-being of this demographic, and often force awkward and uncomfortable encounters for non-cisgender identifying students,” the group’s petition explained.

Despite the seventeen all-gender bathrooms that currently exist on Cal Poly’s campus, flyers passed around during the shit-in called for the creation of new all-gender restrooms “in buildings that currently lack existing facilities.” QSU and its supporters also demanded that the university convert all single-stall gendered bathrooms into gender-neutral ones.

QSU co-president Matt Klepfer credited a shit-in hosted by San Diego State University students last fall for inspiring the demonstration at Cal Poly.

“The overall reception from the student body has been wonderful,” Klepfer told Campus Reform. “We feel that we educated a lot of people on the issue of the lack of all gender restrooms on campus, and those who were aware of the issue were glad to see something was being done to address the issue.

Domenic Hjerpe, a senior at Cal Poly, noticed the shit-in while passing through campus Thursday and questioned how effective the group’s demonstration would be.

“I don’t believe putting a fake toilet in the center of our quad is the best way for my peers to effectuate the change they’re seeking,” Hjerpe told Campus Reform, adding that “for many students, myself included, it’s hard to take something like a “shit-in” very seriously.”

A campus climate survey administered to Cal Poly’s student body in the fall http://campusclimate.calpoly.edu/include/ExecutiveSummary.pdf (found) that roughly 80 percent of students felt “comfortable” or “very comfortable” on campus.

“Cal Poly’s campus is already pretty extremely inclusive,” Hjerpe said.

I could care less what people do in their bedrooms but the faggot lobby is not gonna be happy until they pervert every last inch of the entire world. What the fuck is wrong with these fucking people?

A few excepts from the article:

"Signs advocating for a week of "straight pride" appeared on Ohio's Youngstown State University campus earlier this week."

"Students at an Ohio university say they were "blindsided" earlier this week after homophobic messages appeared around campus."

Ron Cole, the university's public information officer said, "With the help of a bunch of students, we quickly went out to take them all down," Cole said. "Reaction has ranged from concern to outrage. While we recognize the right to free speech, this is counter to our mission of being a diverse and accepting campus." (emphasis added)

They say they recognize the right to free speech, but it has to be diverse and accepting enough apparently. What irritates me is you will walk onto a university and see all these flyers and signs about the rainbow, gay, coalition groups but anything dealing with religion is more likely to be an issue.

Honestly, I don't want to see any of the shit, but what is the difference between religious people voicing their points of view at a university versus homosexual people. It's such a big issue when the homosexual population feels uncomfortable and there is this never ending stream of pro gay bullshit everywhere I look. Now if a kid calls another kid a faggot, I'm not sure what will happen in today's society. Will they charge him with "bullying" and a hate crime or some shit now? And who decided that all Americans should accept homosexuality anyway, and why is this an issue that someone's child needs to learn about in public school. I can see how a child in a public school who has demonstrated some sort of hostility towards a homosexual person could be an issue that needs to be addressed. But I think that only needs to take place when a problem actually presents itself.

I believe that American people, despite their sexuality, are protected under the Constitution, but special treatment and favor towards minority groups (whether it be racial, gender, or sexual preference) is not equality. Granting groups of people special favor does not create equality, it grants them privilege and entitlement.

The political left aren't interested in individual rights, they're interested in promoting group rights because they can turn that into a reliable voting block. And they've been very successful.

The original colonies, which were by the way sovereign, from Georgia all the way up to New Hampshire thought they were doing the right thing in signing that contract. The 10th amendment, along with the 2nd thru the 9th, has been a joke, for lack of a better word, for a long time.

OOps. got to correct myself, somebody will. When the colonies became states they became sovereign. Obviously not while they were still colonies. But the joke part still stands. :)

Rutgers' Students Demand Transgender Asian Knight Mascots

Students at Rutgers University are hoping to diversify their mascot in a move to expand ethnic and gender diversity.

Members of Rutgers’ Student Association (SA) recently passed a bill to create black, Latino, Asian, and third-gender mascot friends to accompany the school’s original “Scarlet Knight” mascot adopted in 1955.

Members of Rutgers’ Student Assembly passed a bill to diversify the school’s mascot by adding black, Latino, Asian, female, or third-gender companions.

The bill was developed by a first-year student who took issue with the current mascot’s ‘light skin and blue eyes.’
