Agreed, which is why Reagan was a poor president for starting it.
We could blame Nixon but he didn't truly start it and even if he did, Reagan escalated it to a real war. It's been a stain ever since that no one can get out.
Admittedly, this is my most prominent issue with Reagan but it's a valid one.

Here's a test - instead of childish prattling with ad hominems, try formulating a few factual reasons why Reagan or Trump are "bad".

The reason why you will be unable to do so is what ails us the most in the US today - i.e. rational, thinking Democrats. The Dems in congress used to function, no longer. We used to have two parties with several factions in each, no longer. The Dems have purged (used intentionally) their party of nearly all dissidents that aren't as rabid as someone like Elisabeth Warren.
Media abandoning any objectivity is another major problem.
But give it a shot - try to formulate a handful of positions (of actual significance) as to why Reagan or Trump is "worst" (whatever that means).
PS/ sputtering about how you feel and throwing ad hominems on the bonfire isn't an argument, that's pointless. Also, you'll just prove my point if you do that.

Just ran into some non-female Canadians who expressed their disgust with Trudeau.
Trudeau's crying over Castro was a big eye roller. But there was plenty more they disliked about what he's done. Interestingly, these Canadians didn't hyperventilate over him, constructive feedback.
BTW, note how liberals whine about style over content - it's all about the optics. Amazing way to approach life.

everything he failed at, the blame is cast on those before him but now that Trump is kicking ass and bringing our GDP up while our unemployment is the lowest in decades, you must think Obama did that.

No, Obama was destructive at another level, he operated in the same way LBJ, and of course FDR, did (which is a major negative, stated for those who haven't read up on those presidents).
Thankfully Obama was largely incapable of working even with his own party, so relatively little got done legislatively, and much of the damage he did with his princely executive decrees can be undone. And have been undone by the current administration, as well as congress.

We had hostages in Iran for 444 days and within hours of Reagan's inauguration they were released.
Don't know what he said, don't know what he did, don't care.
We had hostages and Reagan did what Carter could not do in over a year.
Reagan cared about America and stood up for it.
