You nailed it man. It definitely is different from country to country. What's going on in the Middle East and the other occupied country's at war, of course the people have a whole different mindset. I do believe it has a lot too do with demographics. The country's I mentioned have adapted there style of Islamic beliefs, some more strict and radical than others. What's going on in the Middle East is a fucking mess, and I honestly don't think it will ever get better in our lifetime.

Who knows when civilization began, but that place has always been a hot spot it sounds like. Supposedly for religion.... but you've got to ask... aside from the purpose of having more land (along with more power), what resources could be found in the holy lands?

I have been to every SE Asian country, also china, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and these country's have huge muslim populations especially Indonesia which is the most populous Muslim country in the world. Most Muslim people I met were very kind and good people.

Indonesia pushed back/fought communism in the Vietnam war era. As a thank you the US let Indonesian dictators invade hundreds of islands and take them over killing all who stood in their way. They wiped out the cultures and implanted Islam.
