Thyroid function and AAS

Fellas,

I am looking at running a standard 10 week cycle and have some concerns regarding my thyroid. I have Hypothyroidism (low T4 count) and currently take 112 mcg of Levothyroxine. My question is what will the effect, if any be on my thyrooid function and should I refrain from running gear? Should be noted that when my T4 count is low it has pretty substantial negative effects for me including insomnia, weight loss, depression. Thanks for the advice and suggestions in advance dudes.

Planned Cycle:
  • Weeks 1-10: 500mg Testosterone Enanthate per week (2 injections of 250mg, Sunday Morning Wednesday night)
  • Weeks 1-12: .5mg of Anastrozole Every other Day (EOD)
  • Weeks 4-12: 500iu's of HCG per week (2 injections of 250iu's, same days as test, but not in the same syringe)
Planned PCT:
Starting Two weeks after last pin.
  • Week 1&2: 40mg Tamoxifen (nolva) per day
  • Week 3&4: 20mg Tamoxifen (nolva) per day

test makes you even more hypo to your thyroid. So you might need to increase your t4. Or you might be fine just get bloods.

What about on trt dose, does it affect thyroid by much on low dose?
I mean the less you take the less it effects is and vica versa. You should get bloods every 3 months when scripted synthroid. So bloods are even more important now.

Nice question op. This was my reason in the past to think in test prop or high doses of proviron. Estrogen of the others tests could be a bad thing for the thyroid health due overworking in to the fight with these estrogens (in hypothyroidism case, of course).

Just my idea.

My thyroid fluctuates a lot, every time I get bloods it's hypo or normal, I stop taking my levo for while on trt it still came back normal a few times so idk wtf to think

Have your Doc repeat your Thyroid studies while cycling I doubt much will change at your Thyroid replacement dose,

Thanks dudes. I'm goin to get tha my T4 count tested every few weeks through out the cycle.

I was thinking of adding proviron or Anavar to this cycle for cutting purposes. Read up alot about both compounds and am a fan of Proviron increasing my natural test levels and libido while on. Helping to dry out/reduce water retention is a plus as well as I am prone to this naturally.

Any suggestions on when to run during cycle and dosage? Mind you on a budget and these compounds are not cheap. Would run Tren instead as it obviously cheaper however the sides and me do not get along.

Thanks in advance for the help dudes.

Sounds like Proviron is a miracle AAS and is ALL you need then.

Under normal circumstances many can experience a decrease in T4 production. However, there should not be any effect on your levels, as you have already shut down your thyroid with the use of Levothyroxine.

And do yourself a huge favor... get on Nature Throid, West Throid or Armour

Agree totally with Rudeness!
I like Westthroid and Naturethroid!
They're both dessicated porcine compounds which contain T3 AND
T4 ( which your body then converts to T3, the active metabolite)..
Switch to 1grain per 100 mcg of levo you're on... you may need 1.25gr since you're on 112 mcg levo)
You'll notice a huge difference in energy and metabolism.. talk to your doc!

Oh and have your FREE T3 measured
It's a much better indicator of true thyroid function!

So your saying that the Levothyroxine is shutting my thryoid down? I am under the impression that it is simply a replacement for what my thyroid cannot produce on its own. My bloods have comeback normal for the past 20 years under the current dosage.

My question is how the cycle posted in the original question and how AAS in general may have or will effect my thyroid function while on....

In Chile many people run the thyroids drugs(I mean clinical use). But its very dangerous in my humble opinion

Of course via negative feedback loop at HPA

If your "bloods" are normal and you like how you feel, don't change a thing!

And proceed as per Dr Jim!

Good luck
