TrenboloneTax: Hybrid Cycling / Lifting Log aka Make Hulk Bike Fast

274 this AM with one large shaker water before weigh in. Happy with the way physique is holding up.

Digestion feeling a lot better today. Wife was craving in n out yesterday, so had 6 Flying Dutchman single cheese + 1 animal fry. Typical breakfast tacos for first meal. Snacked on random stuff the remainder of the afternoon.

One thing is for sure, I will be eating like a complete jerk today cuz it’s Halloween. One handful of candy for the kids…one for me.

@BuildABro you should start a log, IMO. if nothing else, it's a great way to keep you accountable to tracking your progress. obviously you're on your shit, but this forces me to make updates and take frequent pics.

also, selfishly, i want to see your gains as you progress lol.

I had been seriously considering it before I kicked things off, for the exact reasons you highlighted. Then I thought “do I really want to obligate myself to having to update regularly and such?” Now I wish I would have, it’s deep enough into the cycle now that I would not want to jump in, just from a continuity perspective. My next cycle in January though? Also-friggin-lutley! Let’s do it!

However I can say that my routine and training is probably not all that interesting from a 3rd party reader perspective. If you were to follow me around for 24 hours you would hardly be inspired. 95% is just the same things repeated over, and over, and over again. I am very methodical in how I approach things, which is a trait that has served me well in my tenure in this life, but unfortunately it’s not all that interesting.

You just described a successful BBer to a T... haha. There is nothing interesting about it. It's just compounding interest over a long time horizon and consistency.

My log is boring AF, just daily physique updates, random food updates, randomly uploaded workouts, and cycling metrics every now and then. Definitely not what the "people want" but it's my log, for me, and then for anyone else who finds it interesting / wants to hop in and comment.

Of course you are right. I guess at the end of the day it does not matter if anyone reads it at all. Putting pen to paper or words to keyboard alone has value.

Though as a relative newcomer I do really value the feedback I get from members here. It has helped me refine my approach countless times to my benefit. I am probably too far past my chronological prime (just turned 33 this month) for me to have any serious aspirations of making a run at this thing in a more professional capacity, but I’d be lying if I said the prospect does not still invade my thoughts often.

I’m like that high school walk on for a D1 school who does not have a chance in hell of ever dressing for a game or playing a single snap, but still slaves away on the scout teams anyway hoping against hope that the dream will somehow materialize anyway.
