TrenboloneTax: Hybrid Cycling / Lifting Log aka Make Hulk Bike Fast

274 this AM with one large shaker water before weigh in. Happy with the way physique is holding up.

Digestion feeling a lot better today. Wife was craving in n out yesterday, so had 6 Flying Dutchman single cheese + 1 animal fry. Typical breakfast tacos for first meal. Snacked on random stuff the remainder of the afternoon.

One thing is for sure, I will be eating like a complete jerk today cuz it’s Halloween. One handful of candy for the kids…one for me.

@BuildABro you should start a log, IMO. if nothing else, it's a great way to keep you accountable to tracking your progress. obviously you're on your shit, but this forces me to make updates and take frequent pics.

also, selfishly, i want to see your gains as you progress lol.

I had been seriously considering it before I kicked things off, for the exact reasons you highlighted. Then I thought “do I really want to obligate myself to having to update regularly and such?” Now I wish I would have, it’s deep enough into the cycle now that I would not want to jump in, just from a continuity perspective. My next cycle in January though? Also-friggin-lutley! Let’s do it!

However I can say that my routine and training is probably not all that interesting from a 3rd party reader perspective. If you were to follow me around for 24 hours you would hardly be inspired. 95% is just the same things repeated over, and over, and over again. I am very methodical in how I approach things, which is a trait that has served me well in my tenure in this life, but unfortunately it’s not all that interesting.

You just described a successful BBer to a T... haha. There is nothing interesting about it. It's just compounding interest over a long time horizon and consistency.

My log is boring AF, just daily physique updates, random food updates, randomly uploaded workouts, and cycling metrics every now and then. Definitely not what the "people want" but it's my log, for me, and then for anyone else who finds it interesting / wants to hop in and comment.

Of course you are right. I guess at the end of the day it does not matter if anyone reads it at all. Putting pen to paper or words to keyboard alone has value.

Though as a relative newcomer I do really value the feedback I get from members here. It has helped me refine my approach countless times to my benefit. I am probably too far past my chronological prime (just turned 33 this month) for me to have any serious aspirations of making a run at this thing in a more professional capacity, but I’d be lying if I said the prospect does not still invade my thoughts often.

I’m like that high school walk on for a D1 school who does not have a chance in hell of ever dressing for a game or playing a single snap, but still slaves away on the scout teams anyway hoping against hope that the dream will somehow materialize anyway.

I like to think of it as my little PED / workout / progress "journal". But with the added benefit of interaction from other folks who can chime in and help guide me in areas where I need help e.g., cycling. Or who can chime in and ask for help themselves.

I'm 30, and I'd also be lying if I said I didn't think about trying to make a run at this. But, I also am a realist, and that's just not going to be something I want to do with a kid on the way and also not something I really want to put my body through, or my wife.

Sure I'm using a bunch of stuff now, but if it's a matter of winning? I know myself, and I'll get too tunnel vision into winning at all costs.

Lmao at your D1 walk on analogy. I guess the only difference really is that the process of this is actually fun...football practice and all the prep that goes into game day actually just sucks, lol.

If you think about what I'm doing it's really stupid. I'm 270, trying to get better at cycling, refusing to lose muscle, with a decently high PED load ~1g, and jipping myself of optimal weightlifitng workouts.

Why in the fuck would someone do that? The only answer I have is that: I am just having fun. Enjoying the process. Enjoying my time here. @readalot put it pretty well when he said something to the tune of "just trying to enjoy my time in this simulation without putting a pistol in my mouth"... now I'm not suicidal or anything like that, but I get bored AF with life easily and have a tendency to channel that boredom in extremely negative ways. This at least gives me something to work on day in and day out that is less harmful than other avenues of mine.

Di2 gives me the least problems when it comes to stuff like this. Your derailleur hanger might be bent, though.

Also, I'm now interested in SLUPP. About to pull middle-of-my-blast bloodwork and if my HCT isn't over 50, Imma be mad.
There is no information I could find about SLUPP related to what TypeII characterized it as. Not a single mention of it as an erythropoietin; I’ve only ever read and seen it described as an aerobic exercise mimetic.

This isn’t to say that it definitely is not that… I hope TypeII does a deep dive on it and shares a bit of his findings.

In one of the studies it actually lowered the RBC of the rodents. However, in my testing, it’s definitely doing something for me from a physique + endurance standpoint.

I mention this because based on your comment it sounded like you want it in order to raise RBC and I’m not so sure that’ll be the case.

273 this AM. Can someone make it make sense? I OD’d on candy last night. I slept fucking terribly because of it. My throat is sore from snoring up a storm, and I shit my brains out a couple times.

I think there is some truth to SLUPP ameliorating fat gain during a surplus. I do not get lean or stay lean effortlessly. I am doing that right now. I’ve ate whatever I wanted for pretty much the last week or more. My weight has stabilized low 270 ever since post glycogen refeed from zero carb last week.

I hit a cycling time trial PR the other day on a common route I do. I would say my baseline cycling performance is improving despite body weight increasing a bit.

Need to make another SLUPP suspension today, as I don’t really like eating half a bottle or more of 250mcg tabs daily, lol.

I’d be lying if I said I was only on 12mg of SLUPP daily. How much you ask? Somewhere in the higher double digits…

That is why we have people like you to trail blaze and report back results homey. Otherwise all we really have to go on is rats.

Though from what you are describing this could be a drug of significance for both fat people and the bodybuilding and fitness community.

I am uncomfortable trailblazing... not gonna lie. But I can't ignore the rat to human equivalent dose conversion. Mcgs don't scratch the surface, and its my opinion that dose was randomly chosen for humans based on modern aminos / AA / and influencers.

Having said that, I'm not pushing this any higher. But, someone could. That person will not be me, lol.

I'm looking forward to other folks on this forum getting their raws, and posting about their experience with it + dosing.

Although given the metabolic and physiological differences, I guess sits hard to really know dose conversion

For sure there are metabolic differences between humans and rats. But all we have to go off of is the typical HED conversion based on rats --> humans.

For example, Cardarine, at the lowest rodent dose of 3mg/kg translates to 33mg daily for a 70kg human. Demonstrated to be carcinogenic in the rats over the 104 week period of the study.

I kinda feel safer with something that has a HED of close to 1g, and I'm using 20x less. Whereas Cardarine? Definitely not 20x less.

Now I'm scaring myself over here lol.

Update:

Totally flooded the engine. Felt sick, and not ill like Weezy, but just shitty. It's what I expected after ODing on that much candy. 4 hrs of sleep, I say I'll nap today but in reality I probably wont.

Just had a chill bike ride, trying to get the sugar out and put it to use.

Can feel the fatigue building in legs after several harder rides this week. Going to take the next several days and just Z2 ride only.

Gotta make more SLUPP suspension. Lower concentration this time so I can take more ML of the delicious Humco and get a lower dose. Tricking the brain.

That's what I'm looking for. I could use the boost in endurance as well, and also a bike ride today to process some of the calories from yesterday.

If you check out the slide with CBC data, you’ll notice RBC decreased. Kind of interesting.

Despite that, definitely helped increase endurance.

Here’s a couple links to studies:
A Synthetic ERR Agonist Alleviates Metabolic Syndrome - PubMed

Probably wouldn’t need a bike ride if you just dosed some SLUPP! Mimicking aerobic exercise and all, help you work through some of that sugar haha. Joking, but serious.

After reading your log I can't wait to bump up my SLUPP dose.
I'm doing a marathon prep right now (+ lifting 4 times a week) and even 4mg seem to have a big impact on my body & my performance. I wonder what 10mg or more will do.
