Try Ghostbin or Hastebin instead of Pastebin.

What led you to believe I have a lack of technical skills? Nothing of mine has been hacked. It has been a while since we spoke but we were both on the same page as far as OpSpec.
The website will happen. You are welcome to continue ordering via email if the website makes you feel uncomfortable.
Isn't that all that so called hacker did was keep reporting to the domains or something like that? He explained it when he was doing I just don't exactly rememberIf you can't keep a paste bin up, what's going to happen with a website? You better find a host that won't give in to the crybaby(s) that keep reporting you.

Gotcha. I was just kinda thinking along the the lines of firing up a website isn't an automatic. That dipshit made it sound easy and he gave out some decent sized headaches if half of what he claimed was true. I don't know enough about it if ones safer then the other. I've ordered both ways and websites are more convenient for sure. Long unintended ramble. That's his typical MO, but i haven't heard anything about him as of late.
Could be anybody. Him, another lab owner or somebody that simply doesn't like Trip because of his douchy attitude.
Good call and well said. I agree completely. Opti did it right. When you email him on proton you get an auto reply with his current stock/prices. Then he follows up with an email. Very efficient.Opti has the only acceptable type of website IMO. It show products and test results, but you can’t buy there. He gives the proton address and if you want his stuff you email him. Simple, clean, and it’s not relied upon for security of your order. Trip, you’re building a nice business here and your test results speak for themselves. Your customers are telling you this is a bad idea. You don’t have to necessarily listen to them, but at least give it some thought. If you’d like to know just how derailed a website launch can make this thread take a look at the 50+ pages of Brewly explaining security and then denying that a customer here hacked them in about an hour. You’ll spend weeks explaining why the website is secure/down/secure/no it didn’t get hacked/ok maybe it did but we patched it/down and very little time actually selling your gear that you’ve worked hard to make accurate and clean.
Perhaps that is an option. I am doing things the correct way with proper hosting.Opti has the only acceptable type of website IMO. It show products and test results, but you can’t buy there. What shopping cart are you going to use? Proper storage of customer data in an encrypted manner? Payment method integration?Perhaps that is an option. I am doing things the correct way with proper hosting.
I received tons of requests to have a website storefront and its clear that some customers would prefer the added convenience.
Yes look at what happened to Napsgear some years back. Their site was compromised and customer data was exposed for all to see. That's what you DON'T want. A website to view product and test reports only does sound good but any website can be compromised to deliver malware though. What shopping cart are you going to use? Unless it was some TOR website with PGP integration like the small websites do on there I fail to see you implementing this in a proper way, and like yuppie said worst case you have someone smarter than you clap your site just to prove you wrong or some other nefarious actor and scuttle your lab rep.
Clearly I'm not a cpu guy. What's the upside to a source having one? If it's just to keep the inventory updated it seems like risk wouldn't nearly be worth the reward?Yes look at what happened to Napsgear some years back. tldr; more of a money grab via the ease of using a website with cart. zero benefits to customers beyond that.Clearly I'm not a cpu guy. What's the upside to a source having one? If it's just to keep the inventory updated it seems like risk wouldn't nearly be worth the reward?
If orders are taken thru a website, it needs to be done securely and customer info encrypted and payment info only kept long enough to process the orders. From something I read, Naps' site was not properly secured this hackers were able to get in and expose customer info which was not encrypted.Clearly I'm not a cpu guy. @TripleBSolutions u taking orders?
