Sometimes a few markers are slightly out of range from donating blood like mcv /mct. Or hematocrit at 49 or 48. I need to get somemore Labs because I don't donate nearly as much being on telmisartan for so long. The last few times I went into donate blood my finger stick red blood cells were really good. Like 15.5 instead of 19. I only donate 3 or 4 times a year now. Once I get insurance in January the only thing I would probably use it for is blood pressure control and slow thyroid. So they would run some Labs other than that I would just be having the insurance for emergencies. Not if you like to push it and you are prone to erythrocytosis. Individual beware. Pull your own CBCs if you go this route.
