I spent a good deal of time in "other countries" as a non american. The conversations I had or heard in the streets, in bars, restaurants, taxis...etc. etc... is NOT what I would have heard if they knew I was an american. Our image is not what you thought it was. And this was a long time ago...
I am well aware of what you mean when it comes to our conducts overseas and how we are viewed based on that but our election system and officials integrity was always highly regarded and used as an example to be followed even by our fiercest critics not once in my 20 years or so of traveling have I heard someone questioning the integrity of our elections and democracy until recently.

So what do you think the American people are saying now with this election outcome?

Considering that fewer than half the eligible voters bothered to do so, maybe a lot fewer if the voter fraud reports are even half true, I would think most people aren't saying anything. They understand no one in power cares what they think.

With respect to what the rest of the world thinks of the US election, note the right wing nationalism sweeping across Europe. It may not be the people most of us professionals hang out with on business trips, but BREXIT and the US election results inspired a lot of people living with even more of the PC globalist crap that's being pushed in the US.

@bickel29 I said as much myself a few pages back and it didnt make a dent. I agree with absolutely everything youve stated and think youre right on the money. Its almost like half the nation wants Trump to fail just so they can say "see! I told you so!" Is that the new American way? Hoping the country you live in goes to total shit just to be right? Thats crazy. We shouldn't be so recklessly demolishing our own democracy.

What really gets me angry are posts like what Scally posted about groups trying to get Trump impeached before he's even been sworn to office. We're not dealing with responsible adults here that much is clear. What we're seeing is more akin to political children throwing a temper tantrum that wont stop until it breaks the nation in two. It's immature and reckless and more than anything, selfish.

The Democrats and the anti-Trump crowd just don't get it, do they?

The Democrats are the reason that Trump got elected President. It is your fault! Stop acting like some supernatural force took over the minds of American voters on election day and possessed them to vote for Trump against their will!

If you'll use some common sense, and stop being so emotional about Trump being elected, it doesn't take much critical thinking to understand that it wasn't American voters' love for Trump that won him the presidency - it was American voters' dislike for the direction and ideas and beliefs of the Democratic party!!!!!!!!!

How difficult is this for the Trump haters to get through their soggy cheeked, watery eyed minds?!?!?!?!

The American voters had two choices on election day. For many of those casting votes, they simply despised the Democratic direction SO MUCH that they voted for something different, even if that something different was the lesser of two evils.

When Obama was re-elected 4 years ago, every news outlet called it an ultimatum by the American people that the Republicans needed to get with the times and shift their stance on topics like abortion and LGBT rights, etc.

So what do you think the American people are saying now with this election outcome?

Stop being so emotional and think logically about what the voters REALLY SAID by electing Trump!

A correction:

42 states allow a write in vote which effectively means most people had well over 100,000,000 choices on Election Day, not just two.

Talks of impeaching a President-elect who has yet to serve a day in office is ignorant and just proof that overly-emotional people will say and think irrational things.

4Chan Claims To Have Fabricated Anti-Trump Report As A Hoax

by Tyler Durden

In a story that is getting more surreal by the minute, a post on 4Chan now claims that the infamous "golden showers" scene in the unverified 35-page dossier, allegedly compiled by a British intelligence officer, was a hoax and fabricated by a member of the chatboard as "fanfiction", then sent to Rick Wilson, who proceeded to send it to the CIA, which then put it in their official classified intelligence report on the election.

Here is 4Chan's explanation of how the story came to light:

>/pol/acks mailed fanfiction to anti-trump pundit Rick Wilson about trump making people piss on a bed obama slept in
>he thought it was real and gave it to the CIA
>the central intelligence agency of the united states of america put this in their official classified intelligence report on russian involvement in the election
>donald trump and obama have both read this pol/acks fanfiction
>the cia has concluded that the russian plans to blackmail trump with this story we made up
just let that sink in what we have become.

And a summary posted on pastebin:

On january 10, Buzzfeed posted a story under the byline of Ken Bensinger, Mark Schoofs and Miriam elder titled “these reports Allege Trump Has Deep Ties To Russia” and posted a link to a document alleging, among other things, that russia has been cultivating trump for 5+ years, that trump has been in constant contact with the kremlin for information on his opponents, and perhaps most inflammatory, that there are many recorded instances of blackmail of trump in sexual misconduct. A prominent claim is that trump rented the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in moscow, where he knew that the Obamas had slept in; he them hired a number of prostitutes to perform a 'golden shower' (pissplay) on the bed and in the room. https://www.buzzfeed.com/kenbensinger/these-reports-allege-trump-has-dee...
https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3259984/Trump-Intelligence-Al...

Noted #nevertrump voice Rick Wilson later commented on twitter, stating that the report “gave a new meaning to Wikileaks” () and that the report was the reason everybody was fighting so hard against the election of Trump. ()

The remarkable thing? It's all fake. And not only fake; it's a prank perpetuated by 4chan, on Rick Wilson himself. A post on 4chan on october 26 stated “mfw managed to convince CTR and certain (((journalists))) on Twitter there'll be an October surprise on Trump this Friday” along with a picture of a smug face with a hash name. /pol/ - Politically Incorrect » Thread #94704894

on november 1, a person without a picture but is assumed to be the same person posted “So they took what I told Rick Wilson and added a Russian spy angle to it. They still believe it. Guys, they're truly fucking desperate - there's no remaining Trump scandal that's credible.” /pol/ - Politically Incorrect » Thread #95568919

on january 10, moments after the story broke and began to gain traction on social media, a person with the same smug grin face, and the same hash title for the picture, stated “I didn't think they'd take it so far.” http://boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/106514445#p106520376

This story has taken on something of a life of it's own. Going through Rick Wilson's twitter, you can find many different stories from the time that he had shown the story to a wide number of anti-trump news sources, trying to find a news organization that would actually publish the story. During that time period, he referred to it often as 'the thing', and often playing coy with followers on the content with the story with anybody who was not also a #Nevertrumper. Unconfirmed sources has people as high up as John McCain giving the story to FBI Director James Comey to attempt to verify the story. Given that Rick Wilson runs in Establishment circles, it is not an impossible scenario that long-serving senators are falling for what amounts to a 4chan troll trump supporter creating an ironic October Surprise out of wholecloth to punk a GOPe pundit who derogatorily referred to them as single men who masturbate to anime.

While this entire incident is laughable, and even more so if the 4Chan account is accurate, what makes it quite tragic, is that it is no longer possible to dismiss the "fake news" angle to an intelligence report. And if the CIA is compromised, what is left for "news outlets" like CNN and BuzzFeed, which were all too eager to run with the story without any attempt at verification?

Ya know, more and more by the day, the state of journalism is at an all time, embarrassingly pathetic low!

And I mean this on both sides, regarding Trump, regarding Hillary, regarding everyone that is covered by the press. Almost anyone can say anything critical of anyone, and someone will be desperate enough for clicks and views that they'll run with it with a ludicrously minimal amount of verification.

Furthermore, by the time these fabrications are exposed as bogus, too many people have already believed what they've read and have moved on.

It's frustrating and embarrassing.

Press conference is great. Everything that comes out of the orange man's mouth is a half truth at best or a blatant lie. Does a pathological liar know he is lying or does he believe his own lies.?

This will be interesting. Just watching T's news conference. He still will not release his tax returns. Now that there are reports that the pres elect may have been compromised, we need those tax returns. This guy will be blackmailed by Russia for the next 4 years.
Have you actually read the actual document that was released? I would suggest you read more about it. Clearly it's garbage and there is nothing to it. It was such garbage that no news organization would release or cover it except for Buzzfeed which is a cancer. Other outlets picked it up after buzzfeed put it out.

Also for the record while I don't agree with a ton of what you say in this thread I do respect the fact that you speak your mind. You don't hide behind memes and other people's twitter postings. You defend your position and you don't hide and while I don't agree with you most of the time I do respect your approach.
