The koch brothers pledge to fund the campaigns of republican members who vote against the gop healthcare bill. Im against it also, but this is an exaple of how destructive super pacs are to a counrty that allows unlimited campaign funding. The wealthy don't own our government do they? Now that the gop has the next 4 years to appoint supreme court justices we can expect the people of this county to lose even more influence in who leads America.

I don't know what Trumps team was thinking trying to bring this half assed health care bill to the senate. At this point, they should just table it and put their efforts into something else. Let Obamacare run its course and work with all sides to come up with something that will work
He is a good man. We would have more like him if the gop had not rigged congressional districts in favor of republican candidates.
They rig elections. They didn't give Obama the right to appoint a supreme court justice during his presidency. That is republican democracy. They are on the way down though, and very soon even with these tactics they will have an insignificant influence on future politics because of rapidly changing demographics. Eat that turd burger gop

Facing a growing rebellion within his own ranks, House Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the Republican Obamacare replacement plan from the House floor on Friday just before a scheduled vote.
The decision is a staggering defeat for Ryan and President Donald Trump in their first attempt to partner on major legislation and fulfill a seven-year Republican promise to repeal Obamacare. It comes a day after Trump issued an ultimatum to House Republicans to vote for the bill or live with Obamacare.
Trump has staked his early presidency on passing the bill, and he embraced his image as a dealmaker and closer throughout the process. House leaders were happy to oblige as well, referring to Trump as “the ultimate closer” as he met with reluctant House members.
“He’s left everything on the field when it comes to this bill,” White House spokesman Sean Spicer said Friday afternoon, describing Trump as working tirelessly to get the bill across the finish line. He added, “You can’t force someone to vote a certain way.”
Absolute shit show. Had 8 years to come up with something better and this is the best they could come up with. I agree with you, they should just let obamacare die and move to something else in the meantime.
How about getting real with healthcare and prescription drug costs. We pay twice as much for half of the benefit.
