Actually I said my Doc said I was a "good responder" to TRT, I guess because I have high free testosterone levels and a low SHBG ? Thats what he basically said...a high free test is better than a low free test w/ high total test I suppose.

Still on different pages. You did misintrepet my original statement when this took place months ago.
Which I re explained and @Oregongearhead blood showed exactly what I was trying to explain.
I never said that total t changes in relations to free test.
What was said is that if free testosterone is high then the body is has the ability to utiliZe the test more efficiently which can lower the numbers on a blood since the body is utilizing or "spending" the testosterone since the test is not bound up.
Although I did use a different analogy at the which might not have been the best and could have caused some confusion. But anyways, what doc said is correct so really we are just talking around each other now. My apologies my man.

So let's say your normal level was eh, 900 it could be possible that within 24 hours it rose up 200 points. But we don't know your base so what I'm suggesting is really hypothetical, but plausible.

You can't determine your base levels. A shot of test e will peak serum levels in around 24-48hrs

It wasn't even 24 hours, but that's a shame. I should've known better than to pin. I really wanted to know my base levels.
But OGH's bloods don't prove what you're saying. You don't have a baseline lab showing lower or higher free test with the corresponding lower or higher total test. His one lab doesn't prove anything in regards to our discussion.
The testosterone that's been attached to the AR is not spent up. Once testosterone binds to the AR and transcription takes place, the testosterone molecule dissociates from the AR and is then free to go back into the cell's cytosol for further activity or go back into circulation and attach to another cell. It's not spent once it binds. It gets spent once it's metabolized in the liver.
Then there's the issue that raising testosterone has a blunting effect on SHBG which then in turn raises free test which partially shows that you can increase free T without decreasing total.
