This is quite a good debate but we have 2.5 months before new president gets inaugurated plus more time till changes be coming. Perhaps it doesn't hurt to be forewarned even though we don't really know what will really happen.

Never had an issue price point great from Amazon.. lol
I can't tell a difference from the BD brand or Terumo compared to these .

Once, in a pinch, I had to order some syringes from Amazon while traveling. It was a state that didn't allow the purchase of syringes without a prescription, so Amazon prevented the sale of BD and most other brands to that state.
A few of the Chinese generics were categorized as "veterinary supplies" so slipped passed Amazon's "cannot be shipped to your location" block.
I brought the rest of the box home, and can say with certainty that compared to BD, these no-name Chinese pins are like inserting a serrated knife. I only use them for reconstitution.
I presume they were designed for China's lethal injection program and intended to be part of the punishment.

It almost as if politicians had been putting all the pieces in place over 2 years and holding back implementation of what will be an unpopular move until just hours after the election was called....
They'll get it done between the changeover so everyone can point to the "last congress" being responsible and it'll be long forgotten by the time the next election. rolls around.
This loophole was never going to last forever. No other country has experienced something like what's happened with the mail from China to the US over the last decade.

I will say I do not consider myself a cheapo. But I have noticed that BD insulin syringes are 40-50 $ a box or maybe even higher. I can't bring myself to buy any.. I use easy touch..

It takes some effort, but when you buy them "right", all BD pins, from the awesome Mayo clinic designed Veo insulin syringes to my favorite "Rolls Royce" Eclipse luer lock can be had for $25-35 a box.

I think Easy Touch may be the exception to Chinese made syringes. They are very common in the States. However, they still are manufactured in China.
I had/have Easy Touch syringes, but bought a case of BD insulin. For me, the biggest differences are: that thin little needle stays firm on the BD, where ET tends to bend; after piercing stopper BD does not lose sharpness, goes into skin effortlessly. To me, the comfort, and not having to re-align a bent syring has been worth the extra $.
I don't want to sound like I'm sour-pussing, just sharing knowledge/experience.

Well since I reall don't use insulin syringes very much at all.. I may splurge and but a box.. I do go through a shitload of pen needles and IM needles though..Then again you are talking g to an ex-drugg addict that years ago would reuse the same whatever brand syringe a intravenously administered narcotics and a few times reconstituted with creek water.. so i have to take all the into consideration on how far I've been to how far I wanna go, one way from the other..
