Its the Nike romaleos. The bottoms are completely flat. I also have an insole that is completely flat and stiff too. I could not imagine doing deads with a shoe with a heelAre you doing deads with squat shoes? If so, why?? haha That heel is working against you buddy. Get some flat shoes with a solid sole or go barefoot.

Pretty sure those have a heel meaning that the heel end is higher in relation to the toe. I don't use squat shoes so lets ask @Docd187123

It was my first time pulling in these shoes. They felt great. The lift was super easy. I coulda went 540 maybe 550?The Romaleos have a 3/4" heel. Some ppl actually can pull better with a heel IME but they're few and far in between. I prefer pulling with socks

It probably felt great because of the solid sole on those romaloes compared to those squishy air max heels. Like Doc said, most people will be better off in a flat shoe or socks but you might be the exception to the rule.
When you say flat shoes would something like a Nike free work?

Except legs they the same .

I clearly remember you telling your story and you posting a picture with your trach in and still lifting ( I think it was in the "Biggest most ripped thread") It fucking floored me. Shame on anyone with a bullshit excuse not to lift today, me included. You are a true hero to us all. You are the definition of commitment. Please, be well.Ahh, MELLY my friend what it be like ..I'm still dealing with some issues , but its almost over.should be having my last surgery in a month.they told me to stop working out 2-3 months ago it was causing reflux which was making the healing process less effective.But I'm coming along buddy thanx for asking..
