What Are You Training Today?

Heavy back and tris day. Starting off with deads with my new lever belt [emoji16]
How's the new belt working out so far?

If you find the belt hinders your ability to get into a good starting position try either wearing it up higher towards your chest or wear the belt backwards with the lever to your back or side like I do.
Thanks for the tip..will remember this one if I have issues with the lever getting in the way

Nothing.... caught an infection in my left deltoid. I have a fever, elevated heart rate from fighting the infection. I'm pissed but this kind of stuff happens no matter how careful you are with your prep.

Hope you heal quickly, man.

Ouch...that sucks and hopefully you'll fight it off quick. Nicked my thumb some weeks back and ended up with an infection that HURT

But with aggressive use of bacitracin and keeping it clean I got it cleared up in less than a week.

I hear ya, I have freaky looking deltoid.
The bright side is it brings out the bowling ball look I'm after.

MDUB, I bet this does nothing for your confidence in joining the dark side lol

Chest/Shoulders/Triceps tonight for me. Kept the weight very light tonight. Really focused on the contraction. Held the isometric squeeze for about 4-5 seconds at the peak of the movement and then down on the eccentric phase very slow as well. About 3-4 seconds. I also found a slight pause at the bottom really allowed me to feel the stretch a little more especially on chest exercises. The pump was phenomena. Hope everyone is enjoying their training.
