What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Wanted to thank @Oregongearhead for this thread. I desperately want to get back to around 226-230lbs and this thread will keep me in check(just weighed myself 261lbs). I know it won't be easy but cleaning up the diet is hard for me. My portion sizes are to big. No cheating today. Protein today was chicken, egg whites and 2 scoops of nutrabio protein. I'm taking the carbs low. Oatmeal in the morning and asparagus at lunch and dinner. If I fuk up my diet please berate me as much as you'd like. Just wondering how many calories you take in everyday @Oregongearhead.

@hurricane --Set your goals and use Meso for accountability if you need to .Goodluck .
Right now Im just maintaining 200lbs so about 3500-3800 cal . I got some strength/PLing goals I want to accomplish so Im staying at a fairly heavyweight (read fat).

Your not fat bro. Your jacked. Trying to stay away from the threads full of drama. Wish I found this thread earlier. Seems like everyone is really supportive on this thread. I really need to drop the weight. Both my cardiologists have pleaded with me to do so. Lot of great recipes on this thread. Thanks again OGH.

When the definition and arm veins go away then I consider myself fat . But sometimes fat is strong , to a point . Right now Im strong and loving it , fk the 6-pack .

Its not to bad. Overall cholesterol is just a little high. But I must admit triglycerides are VERY high. So high I'm ashamed to admit it.

You ought to see some of my old bloodwork , especially on cycle . My lipids looked like Brian Shaws PL total , very high . Theres several good ways to bring down the Trigs but a cycle , any cycle will screw up your lipids , for a while . Then they usually return to normal like the rest of my bloodwork...

Lifestyle changes—such as modifying your diet and losing weight—can potentially cut your triglyceride levels in half.
  1. Lose weight. ...
  2. Cut the sugar. ...
  3. Stock up on fiber. ...
  4. Limit fructose. ...
  5. Eat a moderately low-fat diet. ...
  6. Watch the type of fat you eat. ...
  7. Add omega-3 fatty acids. ...
  8. Exercise.

Always doing it right

Gets a bit boring at times , but eating for a purpose is what we do.
Yesterday i actually changed it up a little by adding turkey chili over brown rice, just felt extra hungry. No pics though , ate it to fast [emoji41]

But consistency can be a good thing as you know . And thats a staple diet for us BBers . Cant go wrong w/ chicken & salad . I"ll match you...;)

Yup, the girl that makes my food doesnt even ask what i want anymore, she just looks at me and nods her head. Means i got about ten minutes [emoji4]
