You burn, you learn. Im a jealous MF of that Taeger.I just threw together that rub, salt pepper, paprika, chilli, brown sugar. Coated brisket in Worcestershire sauce then put the rub on. Turned out pretty good, I think I overcooked it a bit. Was moist last night but am thinking the leftovers are going to be dry. Of well, I'll do better on the next one

Looking good. I cooked fat side up for first 2 hours. I am of the half who believes that the fat soaks through and moistens the meat, then I turn it. There are some new age blogger turds who will tell you otherwise. But I think they just want to seem relevant and come in with "shocking news" about how to cook a brisket lol... fuck em.
I couldn't have done this type of cooking when I was younger, too impatient. But it is coming out nice so far.
And some Sin Valley OG and "light" beer (everybody just said "this guy doesn'thave abs".. lol)
