What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Power company talking about cutting out power tomorrow night due to winds. Another fire started the other day while our power was cut off due to faulty transmission tower. Anyhow did my meal prep for the week tonight instead of over the weekend. Going to have to load up the ice chest and hope for the best. My last 2 meals from last week went bad when they cut the power on Wednesday.IMG_20191025_183122.jpg IMG_20191025_183352.jpg IMG_20191025_182808.jpg

I gotta ask. I’ve refrained to be polite and I’m not being mean. But it’s driving me nuts. With all that stuff on your countertops, what do you keep in the cabinets?!

More stuff, my wife is a little crazy.
Also thank you it has been driving me a bit nuts as well and you've motivated me to clean house. My wife comes from Thailand and they didn't always have food growing up so she is a bit of a horder with food and spices. We probably have enough stuff to cook for a couple months without going to the store minus meat

No problem! Like I said, wasn’t trying to be mean. And it was only driving me nuts cause I thought you had something really cool hidden away in the cabinets.

The lemongrass on the left is cool. Nothing goes better with pork!

You anal retentive bro? I'd say yes. Shit, my wife has a specific spot for everything. If you take a seasoning off the lazy Susan, it better go back in the same spot damn it. Me and my daughter(my mini me) drive her nuts!

Since this thread is about food, I wanted to ask what spices you guys have at home which you consider as essential.
Here is my list:
Tarragon
Paprika
Garlic powder
onion powder
Curry
Salt and Pepper
White pepper
Cayenne pepper
Grillmaster's Garlic and Onion mix- My favorite
Lemon Pepper

I feel like I am missing some herbs.
