What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Ive got a protein cookie recipe but basically just cut back on the flour a little on a Allrecipes.Com chocolate chip or oatmeal cookie recipe and add protein (theres several) thats all .

Too much protein they get hard , too little , no protein benefit .
About 2 ON Vanilla Ice Cream scoops added to the cookie recipe .

Well, I have a point :(

It's one sandwich and a cold cut, lighten up. Iceberg just goes with cold cuts like PB&J.

Not all lettuce is nutrient minimal for lack of a better term. Iceberg is mostly just water yes but green leaf, red leaf, romaine etc. all have nutrients just not as much as a spinach or the like. Kale and spinach raw are hard to stomach for some people without breaking them down via steaming or the like. I know they are for me and I can't eat them heavily in raw form. They have built in mechanisms of enzyme defenses in raw form that have to be broken down via cooking/heat. Watercress is another good potent green that gets overlooked heavily and isn't so hard on the stomach.

Bodybuilders shouldn't be eating no iceberg salad. It isn't just "one sandwich" it's the lifestyle.

Soon, you guys are making avocado toast and drinking Starbucks.

When you say "troll" what do you mean?

You don't know that iceberg salad is basically all nasty water from a dirty farm? Nutritionally it is crap.

When people ask if you know a lot about bodybuilding and nutrition do you say yes?

Very long day. When in a pinch and don’t feel like cooking and prepping these are my go to as I’m sure it’s the same for most of us.

Do you eat lower carb year round?

No sir. I’m off cycle so just for the time being I’ve cut carbs and sodium
a bit. I’m also on my first go with hgh. Sometimes my BG creeps up to 108 and it scares me so I try to low carb as much as possible. I eat most of my carbs in the morning (red mill old fashion gluten free organic oat meal) and low carb the rest of the day. I also usually take the wife out to Mexican food once a week and eat a massive amount of carbs.

What dose are you using? I usually only creep that high at 4iu or higher. I’m on 2iu (been on a year straight at various doses) and come in around 80ng/dL fasted. But I’m on no carbs except a banana after workout with my iso finishing leaning out.

4ius and have been for around 5 months. BG was fine until recently and honestly it may just be my damn monitor. Next month I will come off for close to two months and start again when I blast off in February.

That sounds about right then. I’m about to come off for about a month and a half and get back on 4iu when I blast in mid-January. F’n excited.
