Then stopped at Trader Joe’s grab some things for her…and I grabbed some stuff for me, too. Whoops. Looks like the deficit is being postponed until after Halloween.

Love that pasta shape.
You have no sauce on it, but it holds sauces so well.
Are you doing everything lacto free, now?
I know those noodles do hold sauce very well that’s why they say rotini penne rigatoni ect taste better because all the little tubes or crevices hold meat, sauce, and flavors in every bite much better than spaghetti or fettuccine ect that all the goods just fall into ur plate. I’ve been nerding out on Mediterranean and Italian cooking lately.
Those specific shapes have just been kind of hard to find in whole grain and gluten free rice noodle my area.

I know it looks like no sauce but I have to have a tiny bit of something, Alfredo and garlic salt and olive oil. Just enough for some flavor. That’s what u have in it.

Doing mostly everything lactose free or very little always lactose free milk, harder cheeses like sharp cheddar and Parmesan I’m handling very well, they are lower in lactose. Even a scoop or 2 of whey isolate I can deal with ok.

I think whey is actually a biproduct of the cheese making process, and I think they usto just dump it in fields or ponds to dispose of it.
 
hell yaaah , what are the macros estimate on that dish? I know its a dense , hardy meal , that actually looks easy to get down the hatch
40/45/15 approximately protein to carbs to fats right now. I’m skewing much heavier towards carbohydrates than I am typically comfortable with, but I took bro @Trenbolonetax ‘s advice and started doubling up on carbs this week.

Still shooting for a 5K+ daily caloric target and I hit it more often than not. I gotta say though i can feel the increased carbs over my normal baseline in terms of my workouts. Much more ferocity and explosiveness, even late in the game.
