That reminds me I got some coconut oil Ive been wanting to do something else with .....I use it for stir-frys , but coffee creamer ? OK -:D

I prefer full fat coconut milk out of the Thai food aisle just like creamer. Coconut oil....I cook with it , I moisturize with it, that stuff is versatile.
 
Well guys Ive been losing weight pretty good , 1/2 lb a day . Thats hard to do because I usually go overboard , 1 -2 lb a day or I miss the mark and the weight is up . So I shall have a nice bowl of oatmeal with half a banana slices. And scrambled eggs /ham .

I can tell when Im getting close to Keto because I get an ammonia taste in my mouth and nose . I got it and the weight is dropping . Im still around 70-100 grams carbs a day . Swing ! :rolleyes:
 
Agreed, I do wonder what my wife's motives are sometimes but usually it is me wrecking her diet. We are competitive though so I think she tries to side track me. I got to stop talking about food it is not fun for me right now.....I don't like zucchini but my mind is goin mmmmm zucchini bread[:o)]

Along with killing hunger, the short chain saturated fats are converted to ketones in the liver and can help get you into ketosis.

Hmm. Ammonia breath instead of more like a rotten apple? Either way, it could be a sign you're dehydrated. Make sure you drink lots of water... and I mean until your back teeth float.

I know guys that have literally lived off nothing but chicken breast , brown rice & salad .And water/coffee . And got ripped - :D

The grocery store (Publix) just had BOGO on fresh chicken breast, I stocked up!! :D

Shit wound up being like $2 a pound.. That meal was probably $1.75 !!

and then i eat lots of cookies filled with chocolate
chocolate filled with chocolate. oreo chocolate mix
nutella with a spoon ( only way you can eat nutella )
just found out i have low blood sugar that makes me craving for sweets.
doctor said its from overtraining. on the good side i lost 2pounds eating this shit.
im so lucky

^^^ I was doing fine with all the chocolate talk , then you said Nutella . Damn , I love that stuff . I put it on the protein cookies when Im on a royal pig-out . Now Im hungry , someone stop me ! :eek: [:o)]
 
Add in some 'fat coffee' to your diet once or twice a day.

Fat coffee is coffee with a tablespoon of butter and a tablespoon of coconut oil. Mix it in a blender to get the right mouth feel. Tastes pretty good, though most of the time I'm very happy with only heavy cream in my coffee - and that might work for you too.

Good morning ! Re-starting my HST program again so a pre-workout carb-up is in order . 8 oz Lowfat cottage cheese w/ 2 oz granola + 1/2 banana + coffee . Thats it ! :D

Chicken breast, skinless chicken legs

Lean ground beef, lean ground turkey

Oatmeal, cream of wheat, brown and wild rice

TONS of eggs

Skim milk

Plenty of fruits and vegetables

Water


That's about it. I NEVER break my diet. NEVER. No sweets or high Calorie drinks ever. Also, I stay away from processed foods entirely.

Kubrick likes consistancy , a good trait to have . I do well for a while , then cave-in with the bad stuff . Then I go thru remorse followed by guilt and finally I redeem myself for another round of clean food . I still got that alcoholic behavior (minus the alcohol), stinkin-thinkin they call it .....;)
 
if anyone cares... whole eggs, salmon/sardines, maybe some chicken or beef.
sautéed onions in olive oil and tomato sauce, and garlic.
big broccoli and cabbage salads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
almonds or almond butter. coconut oil.
tea with lemon. I eat the lemon rinds too. black coffee. and ginger.
those are my staples.
