Hey, I'm not hating on gubment cheese! I remember having it breakfast lunch and dinner. The name of the dish just changed. For breakfast it was cheese omelette, for lunch it was cheese and no crackers and dinner was cheese soup.

Nothing wrong with Gov cheese , use to make some classic dishes with those big blocks. They use to give it out free at food banks in Alaska because people were starving to death in the winter . I hear they stopped that program some years back . Good protein/food source for the poor .

Infrared thermometers are typically inaccurate when directed at water.

Ha. No wonder you jumped outta the pool! Cooler to stay outside of it.
I remember swimming in 90 degree water, felt like you were gonna stroke out when you got your heart rate up.
