Got a salt block for Christmas and today was first time using it. No seasoning on the meat, just put it right on the block. Not even oiled. Incredible taste. There will be more where that came from... I could have sat next to the grill and ate those salty slices of meat all night. Going to do scallops, shrimp and filet next time. Eman approved.
Salt and pepper is all the seasoning that's needed on steak!
How's the block work and what do they cost? So you'd start the steak on the block and finish on the grill? Yeah I could Google the answer, but I like the way you explain things.
