Same here! My grandmother grew it in her garden too. Red celery is a pretty good description of it too! I actually liked that pie. I hate mincemeat pie though. I think my grandma put orange rind pieces in it! Terrible taste...
I have to add some cook time to mine, definitely noticed a drop off with the cold. We're around freezing today, I'll be cooking some wings and ribs. We'll see....
