I rebuilt a 97 camaro, engine, trans, rearend and completely redid the stereo system with amps and running new wires. It sat in the yard for almost a year getting everything worked out and fixed. Plenty of windshield time just smoking out in it.

It's road worthy, insured and hitting blacktop. Holley had to send me an entirely new EFI unit. Once that was installed it was fine, engine running great. Master cylinder was leaking and the booster was looking old and had been collecting break fluid for some time, replaced them both. New, solid pressure blew out 2 rusty break lines so I replaced all the lines from the cylinder to caliper with a stainless system. Almost never ending lol but with a brand new fuel and break system done, I can't complain.

I have an "ashamed" car from when I was a kid. 1985 Buick lesabre custom. Baby blue like all mid 80s gbody cars. It had a 1979 403 engine and trans in it, bought it off an old boss of mine. He worked up at Louden race track so he was tricking all his autos out. Anyway, the crank broke at the front of the block. I always intended to rebuild it but youth and drugs kinda got in the way. She rotted out and I eventually sold it because I didn't want to put in the effort. Retard, epic fail. Can't find one of those cars in good condition now.
