Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

Ouch that sucks and hope rehab goes well. Ruptured tendons suck big time!

was it a complete tear?

Yes, hence “ruptured” instead of just torn. It was partially torn on June 1st, but it tore (ruptured) completely off the tibia Monday night. It’s recoiled somewhat up into my kneecap area and my kneecap is sitting about 1 1/2” high. Still gotta go get an MRI to so they can see if I tore or ruptured the PCL, ACL, MCL, FCL or meniscus. ER doc noted in the paperwork it was a “traumatic rupture of the left patella.”

Shit sucks bad and hurts like a motherfucker. This was last night, keeps bruising and swelling up more [emoji1361][emoji1361][emoji1361]

Ouch. That looks fucking painful.

Hopefully you find some Instagram nurses to take care of you. Hah.

Seriously man I went and looked up this injury. I wish you a speedy recovery, AND hope you avoid surgery. All the best to you.

He said it was a complete rupture so he will need surgery to reattach the tendon. That sure is just as rough.

I still hopeful he doesn’t, when I looked it up it said that most people need surgery. Most isn’t all so hoping he was a lucky one.

  • Treatment for a patellar tendon rupture varies depending on the severity of the injury and the individual’s medical history, health status and activity level, but most people require surgery to reattach the tendon to the kneecap.

There’s hope but what the MRI indicates would be the action to take.

I would love to be optimistic and say that I might not need surgery, but I’ve already been told by both the ER doc and my ortho surgeon that I definitely need surgery. They don’t need to reattach the tendon to my kneecap, they need to reattach the tendon to my tibia which is going to require screws. Surgery will either be next week or the week after

These pictures from tonight pretty much sum it up. My knee/leg is fucked. My legs don’t even look like they belong to the same person or on the same body.

The quicker you get it done the quicker you'll be back at it. Sucks that this is your only option though. Keep us posted.

Just waiting to hear back from the Dr’s office to find out when I’m going under the knife.

In the meantime, my leg is blowing up like a balloon. 59616835156__1976FD41-6426-487C-B30C-4C0B54EEB02C.jpgIMG_0406.jpg59604093094__4904A8D1-6C3D-4848-9AB1-A1F38CAFD067.jpg

Sworder, where’s your pic?
"Ah, you little fucker, you can sit around and judge others but you are too scared to post your own picture?"

Not scared, I don't play the same macho games you guys do.

Also, I am commenting on Mac's physique to give him constructive feedback. Ask Mac what his weakness is on upper body he will say chest. You guys don't do that, you guys slam other people so when I give constructive feedback you think I am doing what you guys do. I don't do the same thing you guys do, about 90% of the time.

I have nothing to prove or disprove with a photo of my physique. I can send it to you personally if you want, but I don't play that game here.

Your way of thinking is: More muscle = Smarter/stronger/better

I have nothing to prove.

There should be some old pic of me from 5-6 years ago floating around here.

It really pains me about your legs, you know that I know that I could have prevented it by a large %. Right now your mind is in the dump, you think your body is broken and useless. Meso isn't a good place for you right now. You need to go cry for real. I have been in your spot. 5 stages of anger helped me, you are in the anger phase right now.
