My question is, when exactly was that?
Was it when the Roman Empire took one obscure cult and made it the official government religion, as a way of pacifying its conquered peoples
Was it during the burning of the Library of Alexandria by the christian mob?
Was it when the church ensured that the medieval period remained dark by making sure few could read or have access to books?
Was it during the Crusades, when the dead, in the name of god, were piled high?
Was it when the protestants broke away and thus began hundreds of years of internecine slaughter?
Was it during the reformation when the Inquisition was instituted and the Auto-da-fé made torture and horrible execution become routine?
Was it when the English Protestants stomped the Irish Catholics?
