I have quit the HCG and I am now running 50mg clomid / 20mg nolvadex daily. My sex drive has diminished and I am fatigued again. I will be running clomid 30 days, and nolvadex 45 days. I will get bloodwork shortly afterwards to see if the PoWeR PCT worked. If it does not, I will suck it up and probably get on TRT (from doctor) unless anyone here with experience in ASIH has other opinions on what to do.
First of all, don't get discouraged. I am in the exact same boat as you are. I have taken extended breaks in the past, and it DOES get better.
I would wait 30 days after your last dose of nolvadex, and then get blood work done. Your values may be low, but they almost always improve with time. If you really are certain you're not feeling well, you can try a lower dose of clomid for 6 months. Many endos will take this route first anyway.
TRT is like gear. You'll hear lots of rave reviews from people who have been doing it for 6 months or a year, then lots of people who hate it and who have just as many problem as before they started.
I will say this, the fatigue is in many ways more of a problem than sex drive. It is also something that I never have gotten a clear answer on as to the cause. It also gets better, but for me takes even longer. Personally, I think it is related to thyroid hormones, but haven't done the tests as it is a PIA. Thryoid supplements like forskolin, iodine, and mixes with tyrosine and other herbal ingredients do seem to help.
Personally, I'm ditching heavy weight lifting and switching to cardio and light weight lifting from here on out. I'm hoping that helps with energy.
