Wisconsin Recall

Dems lose and that's after unions poored millions upon millions of dollars into liberal candidates, outspending the GOP in the state Senate by huge amounts and they still lost: Open thread: Total recall; Update: Al Sharpton tries to cope; Update: GOP wins two three four, Dems win one two; Update: GOP holds senate ? Hot Air

And look at the missing tweet that was saved (don't liberal reporters know that stuff can be saved and the internet never forgets, or are they that stupid?). Of even more importance is what Nate Silver noted (from the story) linked above:

In total, GOP leads 52-48 among all votes counted so far tonight in Wisconsin. Walker won those districts 56-43, Obama won them 53-46.

Folks, this is huge. With a large money advantage, and a very motivated voting group the liberals lost! This was a bellwether race for 2012, unions and big government vs. fiscal sanity. Bambi and the libs are paying very close attention to this and no amount of spin is going to make this look good. Hence the missing tweet referenced above which was torn apart so quickly the reporter attempted to pull it!

And next week there is another recall - and it's on two Democrats, with the Republican challenger in one race a practical shoe in and the other race supposedly a real race. However, given the results of last night, there may be two Republican pick ups!

American is waking up. I can't believe it. I did not believe this would happen so fast, so soon. Anthropogenic global warming is now seen by a large majority to be a joke, and the President is close behind - even liberals are starting to question his leadership.

With the market tanking today and the very strong rumors of an S&P downgrade of France (which would remove the blame the Tea Party meme forever), big government socialism is collapsing before our very eyes.

Short term pain, long term gain.

:D

I think Perry's prayer gathering may have had an effect.

With four retentions and two losses (one being the Republican in the Democratic district, and the other being the guy with the alleged adultery problem), I think that we can safely bring forth the unofficial Democratic Base Theme Song.

No, you’ve earned this, Wisconsin Democrats. Tonight’s results cost you twenty million, and you didn’t reach your primary objective. Enjoy.
