Wunderpus' get bigger cycle

Yesterday was biceps and triceps, damn I'm sore as fuck today.

I tried doing a CT Fletcher style workout. I didn't count the reps on most of my lifts, just went to failure. Then, I'd increase the weight next set, go to failure. So on, and so forth. God damn that was brutal.

Warmup-

Standing straight bar curls- 20 or so reps
Tri rope pulldowns- 20 or so reps

EZ Bar wide grip curls and reverse grip tricep pushdowns- 4 sets, increasing weight each time, looked something like: 15, 10, 8, 6. I would do one set of bi's, hop over and do tri's, rest for 30 seconds, hit bi's then tri's again. Damn, I was feeling pumped after this.

Standing alternating dumbbell curls- I was really feeling this one yesterday, the squeeze and pumps were awesome. I think I hit 5 or 6 sets, not really sure, I was kind of blacked out from the pumps. After my sets were done, I did the rack, starting a 40lbs till failure, then 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 12.5 and 10lbs. Normally, I don't do burnouts until the end, but it just happened, and it felt oh so right.

SKULL CRUSHERS!! (I just like the name, I actually fucking hate this exercise)- I'm a pussy with these and it kind of tweaks my elbow over 90lbs. So, I did a bunch of sets of drops at 80 drop to 50. Something like 10 reps, followed by 12.

Concentration curls- The name isn't false advertising at all. I truly have to concentrate on this lift, it's by far my shittiest biceps movement, and I struggle to get a good contraction out of it, and not just swing it up and down. I did a bunch of sets of 17.5lbs, I think 5?

Triceps overhead rope extensions- Not sure why, but I never really feel this exercise until about 15 reps. I struggle to actually get the lift started above about 90lbs, as I have to really jerk it forward to start moving the plates. So, I think I hit around 25 reps for 5 sets.

Crossover hammer curls (god dammit I love this exercise! It makes you look like a fucking savage with a forearm pump to make Thor cringe)- I always drop set these (sometimes giant sets, shit gets crazy). Forearms are a strong muscle group for me, so I can move a fair bit of weight here. It's easy to cheat on this lift, no swinging allowed, and slowly lower the DB down. I did a few drop sets, followed by one giant set of 10, 12, 15. My forearms and lower bi's were on fire, but I still had a good pump going

One arm tricep kickbacks w/ rope attachment- This is a good one for me. It's much easier on my elbow than using the DB's, so I tend to use it more. Since it's a stronger lift, I throw it in towards the end. I always hit these high, rarely lower than 8 reps. I started around 20 or so, and did 4 sets working down to I think 8 or 9.

Seated row curls- So, this is one I picked up a few years ago from a buddy who has INSANE biceps. Put the straight bar attachment on the seated row machine. Sit like you're doing a row, but instead, CURL. Your arm from your shoulder to your elbow should remain pretty straight. The squeeze will make you forget your name if it's done properly. Don't be a pussy and super set these. I was hitting about 10 wide grip, super-setted with about 8 narrow grip. Then, switch! I hit 4 supersets.

Surprisingly I only did 2 sets of preacher curls. Not sure why, but I wasn't really feeling them. Normally that's a standby for me.

Last tri exercise was behind the head DB extensions- I also hate this lift. So, I make sure to do it a lot. I hit 4 sets, around 12 or so reps each set.

Abs didn't happen yesterday, they were murdered the day before. So, I figured they could take a break.

Sorry guys for sucking dick when it comes to the rep counts yesterday, I really was trying to not pay attention and focus on the contractions, the pump and genuinely working until failure.

Protein finished up at 395 grams yesterday.

Yesterday was chest day, felt pretty strong yesterday, I am not going to type out the entire workout today, as I am completely sleep deprived.

However, there is an important fact to note. As of today I have been running the Pharmacom Deca 300 from Darius for 17 days (at 1050mg's/wk). I have been running another lab's Test E for about 6 weeks as well as their EQ. Something has REALLY been kicking in within the last two days. I honestly think it's the Deca, which normally takes around 16-20 days for me to start to feel. Yesterday and today I woke up looking REALLY full in the morning, which is weird as I'm normally fairly flat/dry when I wake up. I am a little gun shy to give too many anecdotal reviews of Pharmacom right now, due to the pending situations with their products. However, this feels like deca fullness/strength, not EQ or Test. I really am curious to see what Millard's results are on this deca. This doesn't confirm the dosing is correct, but it's very indicative to me that there IS deca in that vial.

*please note, due to current/potential hiccups with Pharmacom I'm not ENDORSING the product, yet. I am merely giving a firsthand account from someone who is VERY familiar with deca. If you are considering a purchase, please don't allow my opinions at this point to assist in the decision making process.

Doing a great job, WP.

I am so nervous to either come off as a shill, or lead someone down the wrong path here.

However, I also believe this cycle log is a great way to express my feelings and experiences for my cycle, training, etc. It'll be interesting to go back in a few weeks and see if I still feel the same way. This is definitely Deca.

WP,
This is what these logs are for, IMO. Shakes the wheat from the chaff if done honestly.

So as I get my shit together I will run one.

Yes, it seems as though members are quick to throw stones at others for having positive things to say about UGL's.

First off great log. I'm enjoying the detail. Keep pushing forward!

Don't worry about coming off as a shill. Just give an honest review and know that your status does influence others. Try not to harp on it just continue to Kill it your thread. I see your extra caution and concerns so it shows that your situational awareness is present.
For a lot of us here the UGL praise, rise to glory and the fall into the flames is a repetitive one.

Yes, I truly try to be as unbiased as possible, and reveal all details about the gear/training/food that I can. Sometimes I can type a novel, sometimes I have to deal with the real world :)

Update 6/3/15:

REST-

Yesterday was a joke. I had less than 4 hours of sleep the night before and a pretty solid fever (some nasty bug going around the office). So, yesterday was a rest and refuel day. I cannot stress how important those are. A guy at my office asked me about rest days yesterday, oddly enough.

For rest days I have no SET plan. Some guys do 3 days on, 1 day off, etc etc. I think that's ineffective, at least for myself. You see, it's like setting a number of reps to stay within, per set. You're limiting yourself. It's okay to have a goal range for reps (8-10, or 18-20, etc etc) but if you only do 8, and you could've done 11, why stop at 8? Anyway, rest days are treated similarly for me. Sometimes I will go a week and a half without a day off, sometimes it'll be after just 2 days straight of training. This game we call bodybuilding, or power lifting, or whatever is really about being in tune with your body. Know what it needs.

What I needed yesterday was a couch, a TV and a large pepperoni and jalapeno pizza from Papa John's. God damn did that taste and feel good! I woke up feeling great and energized. 9 hours of sleep, a ton of carbs and fats to refuel and WP is back in fighting shape!

So let's talk GEAR here for a moment-

I am encouraged to see a pass with flying colors on Pharmacom's test. enan.! I will start pinning it in a few days when I'm done with my other test E vial. The Pharmacom deca is really kicking in, in my opinion. I am beyond curious to see how it tests! Anecdotally it's awesome, I am curious to see if my 'feelings' are inline with reality. I am a HUGE believer in the placebo effect, and I don't find myself exempt from falling under it's power. Still haven't cracked the Pharmacom EQ, I have enough of the other lab's to keep running until we see how Pharma's goes.

FOOD-

Would any of you have interest to see photos of the foods that're consumed as part of this cycle? I would love to show you guys that healthy food can be tasty as well as beautiful. It doesn't have to be shitty and bland chicken breasts with some boring and flavorless carbs/veggies. If there's any interest, I'd be glad to post pictures and recipes, as well as a rough estimate of costs.

TRAINING-

Today is biceps and triceps. I'm feeling full of energy from that pizza refuel, so I'm going to train for volume today. I'm planning a Lee Priest style arm workout. Lot's of volume, and intensity. But, I will not be limiting myself to a rep#, more a rep range.

Thanks guys!

I'm actually running pharmacom eq at the moment to soon to tell though only a few weeks in. Keep up the log bro it's looking good

Actually I am running the same EQ. I started it at 600mg/week split into 2 shots (Monday morning /Thursday after work). I did that for a solid 4 weeks. I'll let you know in a few more weeks how I feel. I would normally be getting rather hungry by now but we will see after another week or so. I got my from the first trial domestic run a while back
