What Are You Training Today?

Front Squat 275lb

2,2,2,2,1,1

Felt good and strong. Will probably try 280lb on Saturday for same number of reps per set.

Tried RDL's again for the first time in a year instead of hypers. Realized almost after my first set that Hypers work better with my body mechanics so I'm satisfied with having made the switch.

And finally single legged leg extensions.

My new gym has a GHR and I think I'm falling in love :)
 
Tomorrow will be competition raw bench, competition deadlifts, push press, and front squats

When you say competition lift, is it just as simple as doing the lift as you would while competing, or there more to it? Do you actually have someone watch and give you a go? Just wondering, I never asked so people wouldnt think i was dumb. :(

Correct. Competiton lift means you perform the lift as you would in competition and with the same gear. For competition bench that means I get under the bar wih my pathetic arch, use wrist wraps, and pause on the chest. I don't get someone to yell commands but replicate meet conditions as much as possible. Since I compete raw classic, no knee wraps or sleeves, I wear my Oly shoes and belt and use an Olympic bar (no specialty bar), with my normal high bar style, stc.

Stayed up way too late last night, drank way too much wine and mamajuana, and smoked enough to see Cheech and Chong sitting in my couch. Training will be pushed back till tomorrow....
